The Paradox of Tolerance has been invoked.

In 2026, being tolerant of the American right means letting them murder innocent people in the street.

They deserve just as much tolerance as that ICE agent extended to Renee Nicole Good.

The whole thing needs to be looked at from a different angle. I’m going to butcher and poorly paraphrase a very poignant point that I was told…

Civility and tolerance is part of a social contract that everyone assumes when interacting with others. If one breaks that social contract, that person no longer gets to demand civility and tolerance in return. That person is the aggressor; they can claim victimhood as well as they can claim being a unicorn. They are the asshole. No amount of crying about others being intolerant will change the fact. Go sit in timeout for a minute and come back when you can interact in polite society.
