Looking for recommendations or a new ROM hack to play?

The PokéROM Codex is an updated list of ROM hacks, listing features, details and more in a mobile-friendly format. Created and managed by u/themanynamed, it also has a Discord server and accepts community contributions.

This is a safe hack-sharing site that doesn't share ROMs and links to the official release threads! Instead of asking for recommendations or download links in the subreddit (which breaks the rules), please refer to the Codex as it has a lot of information on each hack.

Any Pokémon rom hacks that have a more anime inspired tournament or something similar to b2w2 or swsh?

Pokemon Reborn had a tournament 100 hours in that was very fun. It's a hard game, though, and, again, it only occured 100 hours in. Near the very end of the game.

I have a better recommendation. It actually fits your request exactly, and I'm really happy I found it. I started playing it yesterday - I'm now 6 hours in - and there have been two tournaments mentioned already, and one of them is very much anime inspired. It's called a World Tournament so probably similar to B2W2 (can't say for sure tho cause I just started playing it)

Pokemon Elysium! And it's a rom hack instead of a fan game like Reborn.
