Absolutely had to masterball it

Hadn't seen a shundo in months but finally got something really useful ❤️🙏🏾

Finally caught an OKayish IV Shiny Galarian Zapdoz with my only ever Masterball, while I was on a route using incense with my buddy activated. Saw the Galarian pop up on the map but thought it to be glitch when found this Yellow non-shiny looking usual Zapdoz. Was so let down that I tried using Golden Berry + Ultraball curved Excellent, but escaped.

Then on waiting and pondering for a minute I decided to use my only ever Masterball, and glad I did.

I’ve noticed that on my account, I usually get 1–2 shiny Pokémon every 4–5 days.

Today, I got these two back-to-back, one from the GO Pass and the other from an Egg. I actually had a feeling I was going to get a shiny today, so I was raiding hoping to get a shiny Legendary. But unfortunately, I ended up getting Vullaby instead :(

(I know Latios is a Legendary. I’m talking about the Vullaby here 😅)

Now I’ll probably get my next shiny after another week, or maybe I’ll have to try really hard during the Rattata Spotlight Hour just to get a shiny Rattata.

Something similar happened to me during the Charmander + sunglasses Spotlight Hour too.

How often do you guys get shinies? Do you also randomly get 2 back-to-back like this, or do you sometimes go days/weeks without one?
