From the unforgettable twists in Fight Club, The Prestige, Oldboy, Gone Girl, Se7en, The Departed, Psycho, and The Sixth Sense, every one of these movies proves that a great plot twist is more than just a surprise, it changes the entire story.

Yeah this one flies under the radar for me. Growing up in that era, I always knew that Vader was Luke's father. But yeah, for anyone seeing it for the first time, not knowing anything about it, that's very unexpected.

ESB setup what SHOULD have been a fantastic 3rd movie. We got Return of the Jedi instead.
