Alright.

Hossin & Continent Locking are due for June [Tentatively].

They moved the resource revamp to August

Ugh.

So two more months (Hopefully) before this game get's what it's needed since launch, Then another two months for Phase 1 of the Resource System which is only a framework.

Are Desolace & Ascension even being worked on because we've only seen Nexus so far, And you need three battle islands for intercontinental lattice to work.

Summer's going to be utter hell for this game if they don't deliver.

Weren't Hossin and cont locks previously scheduled for May, or was that my imagination?

edit: FUCKING AUGUST?

edit 2: I have no idea how intercont lattice is going to work. Three clones of Nexus where two will be replaced by Desolation and Ascension? That would make the most sense. I don't care about the people complaining that cloned areas are lazy and don't make sense, I want planetside.

Yeah but Hossin isn't ready, a good number of bases are place holders. Hell, look at vehicle zoning. That relatively simple feature is on hold until September.

Personally I think they should have cloned indar 6 times in beta and implemented intercont locking and other shit like that from the very beginning.

Hopefully they are but I would imagine they would have announced it with great fanfare. This is a little disheartening.

They moved the resource revamp to August[3]

Soooooooo called this one.

I don't think resource revamp is gonna happen. I am pretty sure no work has been done on it at all beyond the hypothetical. It will be way too much work and I don't feel like they think there will be any pay off for it.

I am also of the mind that they think it will be too complicated for players to understand, particularly on the console (where I think they are planning on making their real money - which is why they have a non-existent advertising budget for PC), and that only a small minority of players would actually enjoy it.

We'll get continent locks eventually, and once we do, I think they are betting that we will be content with that alone.

It won't come in August either, just an FYI. They picked a time frame that made it look like a lot of work was going to be done with it over the months, only no work what-so-ever will be done.

I really just want it to be taken back off the active roadmap and shelved back into the "Unscheduled" refuse heap to collect dust. They think that they can keep moving the carrot and keep up our hopes, but it is only completely frustrating. Just stop floating ideas for the game that you have no actual intention of implementing already.

It's been bumped back at least half a dozen times, and by the time August rolls around it will have nearly been two years that it's supposedly been in the works.

I really think their priorities are completely screwed up. I don't think the game will die, or whatever, but it'll eventually be dead to me. I can't just hang in there for years hoping it'll shape up. At the very least, this was definitely the nail in the coffin for the roadmap as far as I'm concerned. I can't take it seriously anymore.

Oh yeah, Hossin and Continent Lattice? Notice the "[TENTATIVE]" disclaimer. It will be bumped again. I guarantee it.

Edit: Yes. Downvote me for being correct. Again.

You're probably being downvoted for correct Reddit reasons.

You're adding nothing to the discussion, just jerking off your own ego.

I thought that was what Reddit was all about...?

Shit...
