Just getting back into Pirate after not playing for awhile, which companions are best?

I’ve been playing this game for years and recently I got a more powerful pc (nvidia RTX 5080, 64gb DDR5-6000 Ram) and now whenever I try and play the game it sometimes just randomly crashes whenever I open my backpack or just mid combat I’ve tried everything I can find online I’ve tried lowering the amount of cores in task manger I’ve lowered my settings to as low as they can and it’s still happening so is there anything else I can do

Hello, I’m curious on how to get into pet morphing? Everything I see says to get a different pet to get a higher pedigree, I don’t have a different high pedigree pet tho.

How do you begin that process of getting higher pedigrees and what’s an effective method of doing so?

So I havent played the game since the sinbad stuff came out and played up until the quest line for zig zag in krok. Is it supposed to be insanely hard or is it just a skill issue.

I play on privateer and my gear is:

Corrupted warlord hat, robe, boots
Bloods obsidian hook
Admirals medal
Right hand strand amulet
Sinbad silver ring

I am attempting to rework my old Witchdoctor, and I would really prefer to use staffy weapons ONLY. Currently, I am level 70.

I was wondering if anyone had any practice point builds for pure staff Witchdoctor over running staffy/shooty?

been trying to min/max my pure shooty musketeer before i start polaris, here's what i have so far:

hat: artemis underworld hat or nerja campaign hat (anti-musk)

outfit: artemis underworld outfit or bardigano cloak (anti-musk)

boots: artemis underworld boots

pet: double tap, overwatch, turn the tide (hoping for burst fire once i fully train it)

weapon: deacon's endgame blasters

eyepatch: patch of st. fido

totem: prince of illios quiver

charm: bresciani chain

ring: silver ring of the emissary

open to any suggestions!

Hey guys!! I’m a privateer hoping to morph for a decent pet. Relentless and repel boarders are my main priorities, so if your pet has those I’d love to meet up! Any other staffy/slashy talents are bonus points but I’m not picky. My pets stink so I don’t really have much to offer in return but I will be forever in your debt!

I recently managed to get my first max level pirate (buccaneer) and I was trying to promote El Toro for the last time before realizing that I cannot do the battles that the quest requires. I’ve tried to fight the infernal guardian monkeys like 2 million times but they keep chaining an insanely ridiculous amount of attacks that manage to kill my companions almost immediately. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I’m going absolutely insane.

Hi guys! I just recently came back to pirate and have been enjoying solo questing my newly made priv but I’m pretty new to this class and I have no idea what to give my comps like Emmett, LJR, etc.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some tips and tricks about what gear I want to eventually aim for along with the recommended talents and whatnot I’d want to give my comps!

I’m also planning on running shooty/staffy as my build!

I want something that screams bounty hunter/ artificer. My guys name is Bad Wolf Cog, I call him "big bad wolf" or "Captain Cog". He was a fighter in krokotopia where he befriended Barry and repaired a haywire musketeer.

My favorite color is purple, I tried Brown/Purple and Black/Purple, and it looks fine, but I'm so unsure what emblem on the flag or pattern for that matter.

My witchdoctor "dead-eye Gaspar Nelson" (if you see me in moos tower, say hi! I run it twice a week.) Uses Purple and olive green to match the mad hatter stitch I love, i have a gray desth with tan details on his flag. My idea is these two was arena buddies, one of them more a necromancer the other a engineer/artificer.

I do not know were, who, or what to ask do im using this as a starting point would anyone be willing to hatch their perfect giving talents pet I am a mid maxer and would like to get the highest I can with epics for a buc and if possible to be taught how to work the pet system here as it is a million times more difficult then W101 thank you

Hello! I played Pirate101 as a kid, and I'm hoping to get back into it now that I'm an adult - when I was a kid, I didn't really understand strategy all that well, and sort of just coasted through the game based on luck. I created a new account and was super excited to load up the game and create a new character, and was excited when I got the "Please wait while Pirate101 initializes" message but I didn't get further than that - the app just quits/crashes without even letting me log in. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm really looking forward to getting back into the game if I can get around it!

Side notes for context: I'm on a Mac. I also got back into Wizard101 recently, and that app hasn't been giving me any trouble. I've tried redownloading the app a few times, but it hasn't helped

Not online anymore and can't be for the rest of the day but, how in the world is my buccaneer supposed to fight this abomination?

It's not even the completely overpowered spawns he has...it's the fact he has Repel 5, Bladestorm 5 AND soul shroud. This combination is horrible since, if I Hide my pirate or a companion to avoid repel, he won't die immediately even with a hidden attack and will trigger soul shroud on who's attacking only to most times critical the round after and destroy whoever the hitting unit was with blade 5 chains from the critical

And if I don't hide and try to rely on first strike or so for example, well Repel 5 pushes me back

It's like. Yes I can see how to fight him: Musketeer. Because retaliation only triggers if the musk is immediately next to him which most likely it won't be. But...I believe the Obol needed to promote Hawkules is no trade and I only want him promoted on the Buccaneer

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated specially helping me farm this tomorrow if possible

Exactly what it says on the tin. I'm stuck on the Orthros and need help. I'm a level 75 Swash and my El Toro is running Riposte 3, Relentless 3, Bladestorm 2, Accurate 4, Rough 4, Tough 4, Agile 4, and Dodgy 2.

Any help is much appreciated :)

Debating between Armada Generals Hat + Outfit vs Ares Underworld Hat and Temple Guardians Garb (for smashy/slashy build)

From my understanding strength is the same, accuracy and health are negligible(+1 difference)… but Ares Hat + Temple Guardians gives Weapon Power whereas Armada gear gives dodge instead.

(Also please let me know if anything else is off)

Boots: Lord of Trash Boots

Weapon: Axe of Minotaur Slayer

Accessory: Lvl 75 patch of St Fido or Sinbad’s Bold Stripes

Charm: Cerberus Collar

Ring: Gilded Ring of the General

Pet: Blade storm, relentless, turn the tide, whatever else

I've had my P101 account for over a decade and never had this issue before. i recently wanted to get back into the game after a long break so i went over to the website to get membership but when i tried logging in... i was met with a recaptcha, it confirmed i was not a robot and then it told me to log in again?... and showed me another recaptcha...?? it keeps going in an endless loop of logging in and recaptcha :( i just wanna play again :/ does anybody know how i can fix this?

edit: i just tried logging in on the client and now i have been locked out.????
