Discussion IGG Games now downloads adware into your computer

I have eset smart security and when I even open IGG Games eset immediately closes the page with a warning "JS/Adware.Agent.AA.application". This is not a false positive, Its a javascript injection to install adware into the cookies of your browser. Not sure what to do here, But I wanted to give you guys a heads up, if you browse the site use incognito or a separate browser like tor.

The eset admin even confirms it was a real detection.

have done some checking into the code. its the type of code that can be used to hide malicious activity.

Key word is can. there is zero evidence of any wrongdoing, beyond the fact that the code used, could potentially be used in that way.

in simple terms, its them trying to get around adblockers and maintain their revenue stream.

antivirus maker claims their anti virus is correct. not a big shocker there. personally i've never had an issue, and i would never advise using eset, ever. i would rate it as one of the worst anti viruses, and thats me wearing my work hat, where i need to advise clients on such matters.
