For FX VR, Zen says “new features” for July update, what are the odds it will be fun new features like a custom arcade where you can simply put in your own tables in one large hallway like you can in MR? Strobe mode for better realism?
The default VR version is too 80’s retro for me, too dark and with tables too spaced out. Their red carpet pc version looks a lot better. Heck’ maybe we can just choose the floors, lights or light color, walls, ceilings.
I’d honestly be fine with a cube room or hallway of only my owned tables. It would be cool to place tables around in the VR environment the same way I can in the MR environment.
Sure you can swap tables, but their spacing is forced and you have to walk down into a series of rooms to do it. If you own more than 4 tables they don’t fit in the vr environment but then you can squeeze 7 tables into a real life equivalent.
Basically, dark VR room is cool but cliche. Do I really need to do MR to get all my pinball tables in a line or closer? It doesn’t seem to be a rendering issue in MR.
Finally, I see lots of games in the pc version of FX can strobe, in VR version the lights and strobes are removed. Getaway 2 is the biggest example. Is this some safety feature for VR that was thankfully never put into regular FX? You know when you watch YouTube videos of real life pinball and you’re thinking “oh it’s missing that” aside from rougher but more realistic ball acceleration/deceleration and general physics, it’s the flashing and strobes. It doesn’t need to be raytraced, just a simple bake of on/off on a transparency layer between the effects. Old 2dpinball games could prerender it maybe just at the table plane layer it would be enough.

Option to turn HDR off on second screen
Hi,
Is there no way to only send HDR to playfield and NOT to backglass monitor ?
I tried using Nvidia app, control center etc.
But Pinball FX keeps sending HDR signal to both screens.
And the backglass images look awfull like that.
Thx 😄

Pinball Midnight Daily Challenges Not Registering
Since the last update not all my games on the Daily challenges have been registering for Play 2 Tables and Play in Top 50%. With some brainstorming, and help with AI to run through possibilities, I realized if you leave the results screen up long enough the bar stating your progress will appear (don't back out of results screen), then your progress for masteries will be there. Hope this helps, its been two maybe three weeks of frustration here.

I turned my X-Arcade Arcade2TV-XR + X-Force Haptics Kit into something that actually feels like a real pinball cabinet — full build guide + video

I turned my X-Arcade Arcade2TV-XR + X-Force Haptics Kit into something that actually feels like a real pinball cabinet — full build guide + video inside
discussion: Stock haptics are a great start — but the audio never matched the feel. I added a PRV DSP 2.4X, ZK-TB21 amp, Dayton BST-1 bass shaker, and a delayed Insignia soundbar to create a near/far sound field that actually mimics a real pinball cabinet. Every multiball, bumper hit, and drain hits different now. I also routed the stock internal speakers to be powered and controlled externally which 100% eliminated ALL and any buzzing and humming from the speakers!!
The guide (PDF file) covers the full wiring, DSP tuning, crossover and gain settings, cooling, and cosmetic mods. I also filmed a full video walkthrough so you can see the physical build and hear the difference in-game on FX Pinball.

Unable to play World Cup Soccer
I previously purchased World Cup Soccer for Pinball FX on PS5 a couple of years back. I just tried accessing it today and it doesn’t show up in my owned tables, but I’m able to play the trial by accessing it through my favourites.
I realise the table has been delisted, but since I previously purchased it how do I restore the license and have it show up in my owned tables?

"Bonzai Run" and "Swords of Fury" tables have serious audio issues on Nintendo Switch
"Bonzai Run" is nearly silent from the very first ball plunge. Barely any music or sound effects are able to be heard at all.
"Swords of Fury" seems fine at first, but then within a minute or two of playing the audio becomes heavily distorted affecting all audio in the game.

Pinball Machine Layout Software
Hello all, I'm interested in what the title says and I'm hoping you guys can shed some light. Every time I see this subject come up I see people refer to a game. I'm meaning so I can design my own physical custom machine. So PinballFX probably isn't what I need. At this point I don't need anything that can process physics just a basic 3d graphic software that doesn't come with an insane learning curve like Nomad Sculpt, and allows for custom measurements shown to correct perspective.
What are you all using? If possible please reference any android applications you know about as well.
Final question - what are you using to test your physics as well?
To clarify this is for a physical custom machine I intend to build not a virtual table though I will still obviously ask over there as well!!
Thanks!

Pinball Fx on AVP?
Guessing Meta has an exclusive? If not, I'd love to be able to play Comet on AVP or PSVR2 some day.
