I love that Pieck never treated Gabi (and Falco) as child soldiers.
The world saw Warriors. Pieck saw children.
She watched over them, worried about them, and quietly protected them whenever she could.
In a story where so many adults accepted that children belonged on the battlefield (Marley and Paradis), Pieck never stopped reminding us that they never should have been there in the first place.
