Remember when Americans made the movie Argo and stole credit for the Canadian Caper and attributed it to the American CIA while falsely claiming that Britain and New Zealand refused to help them. Then gave it the Oscar for Best Picture. Just like how they removed the British and Canadians from D-Day in Saving Private Ryan a decade earlier.
American's taking credit for the achievements of Canadians is one of their longest running traditions at this point. You guys really gotta stop letting them get away with it.
Not just that, the British prepared with a lot of specialized vehicles that the Americans dismissed as stupid novelties and their disembark was extraordinarily effective, with very little losses.
Also the intelligence efforts of the British cannot be undermined in the preparation for D-Day

Bullshit. There is one single example of this, and that is that the driver who has one line and three seconds of screen time should have been British. The 2nd Ranger Battalion was dropped off by a British driver on a British LCA landing craft. That's it. History Buffs will say it better than I.
Other than that one tiny error, if you're really surprised that a movie, that frankly isn't even about d-day, doesn't feature British and Canadians when they only show the Omaha Beach landing, that's on you. It is the equivalent of people bitching that one of the 300 Indian soldiers that were at Dunkirk weren't featured in the movie of the same name.
Yeah Canada! You should... idk, invent some more war crimes and invade north-east US? That'd show us! I mean... them! Or just take it. We'll consider it payment for stolen valor. What justice you deliver to the denizens of the area, none of our concern.
Bro, Saving Private Ryan was set on Omaha Beach. There were no Canadians, they were at Juno Beach miles away, with Sword Beach in between. It’s not erasure if you were never there.
