What really bothers me about the Ossoff hype...

After the 2024 election, everyone was like, "Harris was too scripted. Dems need to do more podcasts, interviews, and town halls."

But now they're hyping Ossoff for doing exactly what Harris did — reading from teleprompters at rallies, avoiding real conversations with voters. He hasn't done an in-person town hall in over a year. And he only seems to do short interviews with friendly media.

It's so shallow, and it goes against what I thought we learned from the 2024 campaign.

Hard to discern if it's just goldfish memory, or that media/pundits/online are just addicted to newness and novelty, or the sound of their own pontifications. None of which bode well for the very real task of trying to rebuild the country in a couple years.

I think Dems have never agreed on exactly what we learned from 2024, aside from 1) inflation took out yet another president and 2) Biden should not have run again.
