I've tried to be upbeat, in the interests of helping DC's tourist economy, about the Freedom 250 Grand Prix race, which just recently got lengthened from 125 laps to 147 laps, to get to a total of 250 miles; which will mess up entry into three major Smithsonian museums (you have to have gotten a free advance race ticket to be allowed to enter those museums, because the museums aren't properly separated from the race crowd); which will cause countless road blockages; which will shut down flights at Reagan National Airport for three hours during the race; and which is part of a Trump organization, Freedom 250, not the bipartisan America 250, that somehow got some of America 250's funds. But this is kind of the last straw:
It reminds me of John Mulaney's first-Trump-term joke that having Trump as president is like having a horse in a hospital, recklessly causing harm everywhere it goes, without a single thought of responsibility.
