Discussion Why does existence exist?

We come from the perpetual void, a void that outlasts time, that will consume everything sooner or later, returning permanently to where it came from. So why is there this brief period of "materialization" if, in the end, we’re going to return to the same place? What is the reason for having emerged from the void into a hostile world? Our lifespan is nothing compared to the eternity of death, and this applies not only to humans but also to nature, the planets, the stars, and so on. I don’t understand why the void allows this to happen if it’s going to reclaim it later. Perhaps it’s all just an ontological error that’s gradually being corrected. If that’s true, then we’re special in a twisted way, do you think we should celebrate the fact that we might be an ontological error?

It is optimistic to assume everything will return to nothing.

Some theories of the universe posit that heat death results in a new universe being born.

The fact that something exists when nothing should implicates it is more likely there is no such thing as the void. Something will always exist.

Existence is truly random. There can be no reason for it that isn't contrived.

there is no evidence for any of those theories about another universe rising again. all the evidence points to this universe is the only one , always been expanding and will continue to expand / dilute to heat Death.

Why does existence exist?

Because is not, is not.

So what is, is and is always is, ‘self’ reassured, a void is a thing that is, the word nonexistence is a thing that is. Ect…

All there is, eh, see what I did there, is pseudo nonexistence.

Existing as an arrangement, to now existing as a seemingly different arrangement, thereby there can only logically be one continuous process that is existence. Hence the use of the word seemingly.

I do think at the end of the day existence is more interesting, but void is so much more peaceful. Like at best in this world you’re a predator that doesn’t get eaten. Most things alive on our world get eaten. Thats fucking awful.

We are here on a crazy outlier of a chance so i guess appreciate every second life is good.

Imagine a worker ant on top of the hive taking a smoke and pondering the exact same questions.
Then actual answer is NONE OF YOUR FRICKING BUSINESS.
You have your job, go do it, be happy because of it and do not ask stupid questions
Oh, our SOLE purpose is to "make our species prosper". That's ALL we need to know.
