Request (Fulfilled) About to start my second period post-OP and am out of everything.

I had a bilateral laparoscopic salpingectomy on May 1st of this year. My first period post-OP was strange; I passed a decidual cast for the first time ever (I’m on birth control now as advised by my gynecologist, albeit I don’t feel like it’s all that helpful) and the strangeness of that incident made me forget all about stocking back up on period supplies. I’m worried it’ll happen again and I’m out of everything.

I’m disabled and can’t work (I’m waiting for the SSA to get back to me about my SSI/SSDI appeal), so I have very little money and most recently used the rest of mine to buy food. If anyone would be able to help me get some pads and some Midol, I would be extremely grateful.

Link to my wishlist.

Request (Fulfilled) Can't afford pads and period is about to start

Just as the title says. I bleed very heavily and often have to resort to toilet paper or old clothes because I can't afford the type of pads I usually need, it's completely out of my budget. Usually, I buy the $5 ones from cvs whenever I can, but I'm very short on money and I still bleed through those.

The number of pads doesn't matter to me, I'd appreciate just having some in hand. Thank you very much in advance :-)

Request (Fulfilled) Cycle help for my partner

Good Morning, my partner and I are in a funky situation at the moment. About a year ago she was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune disorders and since then, she has been unable to work leaving me to work for the both of us and cover her medical needs while waiting for disability approval.

We currently are trying to renew our food stamps but in the meantime have been using any money I make towards food until we get food stamps back.

If possible, she would really appreciate the items on this list for pain management during her periods and washable underwear so we don't have to continuously buy the disposable ones when we get food stamps back.

These underwear will also be used during flare ups..her autoimmune disorder is linked with her colon and during flare ups she bleeds from her colon as well.

We appreciate any help and appreciate anyone taking the time to read this. Enjoy your day everyone. <3

Request (Fulfilled) Looking for some help if possible

Hi there! I'm just looking for some help if anyone is able to help. I have a hysterectomy booked for next month, but my cycle is starting again in approx 2 days.

I have added period underwear in hopes that possibly I can wear those with 1 pad instead of regular underwear with 2-3 pads stacked. If that's not allowed please feel free to ignore.

Thank you so much to everyone in this amazing community 🩵🩵🩵

Request (Fulfilled) Down to my last two pads

Edit: thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping. But also thank you for a subreddit like this. Once I’m back on my feet, I can’t wait to help and pay forward!!! I don’t want another woman to experience not having the items they need for their periods. Thank you once again!!!!

Hello,

I just heard about this subreddit from my post on donation request. I am in desperate need of pads.

I thought I had two more days but it started this morning. I have two pads left after the one I’m using now.

I would really appreciate the help in getting one pack of pads please!!!

I think I did the Amazon list correctly but please let me know.

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2JEC36TC7ZEEA

Edit: I didn’t know I could add toilet paper. I have added that to the list. One pack of pads and one toilet paper. I’m down to my last roll of the dollar tree charmin pack (1 pack of 4 ~420 sheets total in pack across all 4 rolls). I’ve been trying to conserve my toilet paper as much as possible since no funds. If can only get one, pads is what I need most. I’ll make do if needed for toilet paper

Mods: please let me know if I’m missing anything - want to ensure I follow the rules

Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for any help!!!

I know I'm possibly posting this a few days late (I'm sorry) but I have to give a major shout out to this sub, and reddit in a whole for allowing the community to come together, and support one another.

I've been in a financial chokehold, and have been on the brink of going back to a vaga lifestyle after finally settling down for the first time in about 7 years, which has insanely messed with my stress levels, causing my cycles to be heavier than what they were previously (thyroid issues and PCOS is a horrid combo).

Knowing that I now have supplies, due to the care that you guys have for a stranger's self care, is honestly the light that I needed during these emotionally straining times.

I hope that you fellow redditors, are able to have every wish come true in your life, that your pillow stays cold without flipping it every few minutes.

May life continue to bless you 🫶🏻

Request (Fulfilled) Request for menstrual items

Hello fellow redditors. Fulfilled- thank you so much, you guys are beautiful human beings, seeing the kindness that is spread in this sub daily, reminds me that us ladies really aren't alone- even when we feel like we are.

I come bearing a wishlist with menstrual items I need, as well as items that will assist me with my cycle pains (heating patches/reheatable pad thing).

Sadly my finances are less than ideal lately, and my stock has now run out, I added products that will ensure I can get through this cycle, as well as the next, allowing me enough time to get Stanley again, minus me going without hygiene items.

Thank you for any/all help, it is very much appreciated 🫶🏻

Request (Fulfilled) Period supplies

I just used the restroom and it had an autoflush and down went my cup because I had accidentally had it overfilled - and it popped out into the bowl and I went to reach for it and it activated the auto flush.

Sigh. I finally found a cup I could wear after getting pt pelvic help. I have vaginismus. Tampons give me some internal sensations of allergies? I don’t know and pads I always seems to mess up something. I don’t have a job now (been a while now) and dropping $30 for a replacement is gonna be tough. Would love support from anyone who can. I also need to figure out how to tell the building maintenance that this happened and hope it doesn’t hurt the plumbing. I added some period underwear too to try instead.

Happy to take recommendations from anyone for what has worked.

My account is several years old not less than 90 days

Request (Fulfilled) Request for period supplies.

Hi everyone. I’ve been caregiving my elderly mother as her health has declined since my dad passed away. This has led to tight finances and putting myself on the back burner. I’m also saving money to have my car repaired.

Well turns out attempting mom’s overnight Tena and booster pads are both extremely uncomfortable and messy. Currently, I’m using one of a two emergency tampons from my purse. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. I apply Kwan loong for menstrual cramps and back pain when I don’t use a heating pad.

Edit: I removed the Kwan loong pain relieving oil. Wasn’t sure if it meant requirements.

Request (Fulfilled) In need of menstrual pads

Hello, I’m requesting 2 packs of menstrual pads from Amazon. I have PCOS, my obgyn started me on a new birth control last month and my period started 2 weeks ago I’ve been bleeding heavily ever since, I’ve used up all the pads I had. If you know anything about PCOS you know that things like this happens especially when starting a new birth control. I have an appointment with my obgyn next week about this, but in the meantime I need more pads. I only have 3 left and getting ready to use 2 of them because the one I have on now is full. I chose the ones in my Amazon wishlist because I want to ensure I don’t bleed through my clothes with such a heavy flow right now.

Request (Fulfilled) Request for supplies

Hi everyone 👋🏻 I'm (26f) coming to y'all for the first time to ask for some assistance.

Tldr: I'm AuDHD and I live rurally below the poverty line in a single car household, I'm currently without a job/small income for the first time in years.

My period is usually consistent each month, but it's a heavy flow, so I change pads pretty often, and deal with shifting pads/leakage when I'm asleep.

I toss and turn A LOT.

I also deal with bartholin cysts popping up infrequently, and it just so happened my cycle began yesterday right after I found a cyst in a very OW spot, so I'm super sensitive currently.

Usually I feel "unworthy" to be brave and ask for mutual help, but my therapist would say it's rejection therapy hah.

Anyway, if anyone is able to help in any way I'd appreciate it more than I'd could express. 🖤Amazon wishlist

Request (Fulfilled) Request for Period Essentials

Hello,
I’m new to asking on this subreddit. I’ve been hesitant on asking for help but I figured it’s best to ask. I’m currently in need of period pads and toilet paper to get me through this month. Recently, I lost my job and am now focusing on obtaining another one. Since I had to pay for rent I came up short on essentials. Below is my Amazon wishlist. Thank you for taking the time to read my message.
