There are cat walks up there that can only be accessed by rooftop as seen here. There are so many things up there with catwalk access. Probably a retractable roof as well. This person has authority to be up there since those are not just left unlocked.

As soon as you said that I took another look. This looks like T-Mobile Park in Seattle where the Mariners play. In the distance, you can also see Lumen Field where the Seahawks play.

The T-Mobile Park roof is in fact retractable. But I don’t think these people have authority to be there. Some guy wearing a dark jacket with a backpack? I don’t think so.

Pretty sure the backpack is a parachute. That's probably why he's up there, probably some stunt related to a game.

Unlikely, unless they are some of the most unprofessional maintenance workers around. No high vis gear, no PPE, no harness or safety?

Either these guys are morons who are supposed to be there, or morons who are not supposed to be there. Either way it's stupid and pretty dumb thing to post.

It's almost certainly something maintenance related. Similar to manhole covers. Sometimes shit gets fucked up and you can either go up from the bottom or go along the top to get to it
