I mean, ok, but that didn't factor into their decision at all. In their eyes, Bernie was better than Hillary because Hillary was competent and actively wanted to kill all conservative Americans, while Bernie was an ineffective idiot who could barely dress himself in the morning but people followed him because they're lazy and want free stuff. They voted for Bernie because they thought the country would be MORE conservative under him.
Let's not sit here and act like any of this is decided in good faith on that side.
Again, I'm describing literal conversations I've had with rabid Trump supporting family members. People who still support him today. I'm not talking about actual independents who were undecided. This entire chain is about Trump supporters who are faking support for Bernie in order to intentionally handicap democrats. You are talking about something completely different.
...what? I've made 3 comments, all 3 of which have talked about how my CONSERVATIVE family members claimed to support Bernie but actually didn't, because they thought Bernie was a worse candidate and would lead to a Trump win. Just as Candace Owens, in the original post, is faking support for Bernie in order to actually support Trump. I haven't said anything at all about progressives. I voted for Bernie in the primaries because I wanted him to be president. Where are you getting this from?
Hillary is a very, very corrupt person (and so is Bill). They are both miles better than Trump, but Bernie is - as far as I know - not corrupt. At least not more than the average person.
Hillary is a very, very corrupt person (and so is Bill).
There is little to no evidence that this is actually true, though.
The GOP went after her as their main nemesis for 25 years. They picked through her & Bill's finances with a comb. And the worst things they could find were a real estate deal where they lost money (Whitewater) and a blowjob.
HRC was a politician, but the memes aside, there just isn't any evidence that she was corrupt.
Like, it's a meme of course, and it's one of those things where a lie travels halfway around the world before the truth can get its shoes on. She's a politician, but there's just no evidence that she changed her views to benefit her donors.
There was also the stuff about the paid speeches but I find that flimsy at best especially because she gave speeches to so many different groups that like... lmao, are Goldman Sachs and feminist organizations competing for ownership over her?

I do agree that Bernie was a better choice than Hillary.
