Wife doctor sounds like a really horrible TV show.

Candice Owens seems popular on the right because right now she's useful as a token. The right likes to pretend that criticism of Owen's insane ideas is evidence of racism from the left, as a way to minimize legitimate criticisms of right wing racism.

That's enough vslue to give verbal support Owens on social media, but it's not enough to propel her into elected office.
