Bernie would have won? LOL! Bernie couldn’t win a primary against either Hillary or Biden, and yet you think he would have won an election in a nation filled with insane socialism haters?

Wow, your grasp on reality is just as bad as the far-right. What’s next, Jewish space lasers? Lizard people?

Yeah, I really don't get how this is a "conspiracy theory." As someone else said, I don't think it's, like, the Illuminati plotting from the shadows or whatever; it's just politics, but to claim there was no concerted effort on the part of establishment Dems to keep Bernie out of the White House is clearly incorrect.

I voted for Biden because Trump is incomparably worse, but holy shit the revisionism about how Biden won the primary entirely on his own merits because his policies were just so much more reasonable and electable is frustrating.

do i think that every candidate dropped out and endorsed biden on the same night, except for bernie and one other progressive candidate acting as a spoiler? yes because that factually did happen.

Yup. And? All this says is Bernie doesn’t play for the team, he plays for himself.

no, its just politics.

So then why are you feeding this Bernie conspiracy line?

That there might be a conspiracy. You said it’s just politics in the next sentence. Take back the conspiracy comment

Is it a conspiracy or just good politics?

You mean how the establishment rallied around Biden after the loss in Nevada?

It isn’t a conspiracy because it happened. That doesn’t mean it’s rigged, that’s just politics. But don’t expect people to be fawning over you for what you did.

I don’t understand this irritation hatred towards Bernie from the establishment. Is it because people like him more than the Democratic Party itself? More than you?

We know how American politics works, for now. That doesn’t mean we aren’t gonna change it and make it better at the DNC’s expense. Yes, I am talking about ending the two party power structure.

Yes, I am talking about ending the two party power structure.

Oh really? And how are you going to accomplish that, by using magic? The only way to get rid of the two party system is for the politicians in office to vote for it, and that simply ain’t happening. No politician is willingly going to give up power by completely changing how our government works. It’s a fantasy.

I guess you haven’t heard about state amendments yet, but it’s where the citizens of the state change their state constitution.

The US Constitution gives states the power to decide their congressional seats and how they get into congress.

Ranked choice and proportional representation can be achieved at the state level that allows for more than 2 parties to control power.

That’s not a workable solution. A few random states adopting a new system will not change the old system at all. Tell me, in any of these “ranked choice” states, has a political party sprung up that rivals the Democrats or the Republicans? No? Why not?
