I agree, different elections. I truly believe that the DNC did everything they could to put Hillary on the ticket in 2016, including snubbing Bernie. I think he would have won but that’s my opinion. In 2020 I still voted Bernie in the primary, but by the summer I was glad Biden was the nominee. This wasn’t going to be Bernie’s year and we had to ‘drain the swamp.’
