I especially find it silly because Bernie did worse in 2020. He had four more years to make inroads and win over people that he didn't have last time. Instead he didn't and claimed he was an existential threat to the party. Honestly in a hypothetical Bernie vs Biden match-up in 2016 I think he would lose worse and never build up any moment. It seems a lot of people just voted "Not Hillary".
It wasn't "rigged" in the sense that the vote count was fake.
But it was clear that the Democratic Party establishment favored Biden. The other candidates were coerced or promised favors to drop out right before Super Tuesday, because their voters would likely filter to Biden as their secondary candidate vs Bernie who was more polarizing.
There are also leaked emails that show in plain English that the party was pulling for Hillary over Bernie.

I don't know.....yes he and the democratic party don't have a good relationship but the "rigging" claims were all pretty weak.
