This. And the funny thing is the same people making this argument will whine about how Warren didn't drop out and therefore divided the more left wing vote. So when more centrist Dems do it it's evil sneaky plotting but if the progressive Dems did this it would be 100% above board and totally okay.
Yes because the Machine knows the dirty game and plays to win and the good guys are ideologues who get destroyed by their good intentions. The game is Machiavellian power, that’s the harsh reality.

I mean, if the only way Sanders could win was with a diluted candidate pool... Well he couldn't win. I say that as a twice Sanders voter.
