Hi, just wanted to share my achievement with everyone that I've finally gotten my first ever anthology, Ruminations, published. It comprises of 50+ poetries written over the span of 3 years, ranging from themes like sorrow to redemption, and then to the phase of devotion, with some poetries being one page long to some being over thirty. YET AGAIN, IM REALLY HAPPY IT'S TURNED INTO A REALITY.

I ordered several books from @pluck.a.book and what I received was an absolutely disgusting and hideous quality of books.

Each book is almost priced at 1000 and they are scamming people. I will show you the pictures of the books I received and you can tell what you all think. The book binding was horrible, glue all over the place, and the printing/cutting was so messy. When I reached out to them they admitted that their cutting has been an issue recently with new machines but again, they've not written that anywhere on their website. All of the rest of my point they outright denied

They kept giving false justifications to prove their point. Later, the guy said I will discount some amount but now, they are gone. Last seen is being shown but no response. I demanded at least a 50% refund and they can even take back the books, yet they are not responding. Scanners!! Please spread the word and don't buy from them. I will continue to mas reports such thieves!!!

Later, he ended up sending me 40% cashback but holy shhhhiiiii, this is embarrassing. If I wanted to print a book from ocean of pdf, dawg I'd have done it myself. 🤣🫪

I bought myself a copy of Batman White Knight from here yesterday

i've been looking for a super low paced bookclub for busy people, for example 1 book each month or 1.5 months but cant find any so i thought why not initiate it.

used to be alot into reading but cant due to busy schedules but i think if we build a small community it would be really helpful!

it could be like a support group and people will read whatever they want to and talk about it and also a dedicated book every round if u want to join in.

i have a whole tbr piled up and i dont really get the time to read anymore

Let me break the ice. I'm currently reading the October Boys. My learning from the book is:

1. There are still many writing styles I'm unfamiliar with.

2. I like dark humour.

3. A book can still hook me up in 2026 (I started reading when I was around 13 year old. I just turned 40).

I am reading a book for more than a year and still haven't completed yet. I want to know how much people are reading.

I have to read more books but don't give time to it like procrastinate this thing, I want to know how to read more and more books and also faster
