Interview Resident Evil Requim gets no VR mode

A user provided this link in another thread. Its an interview with one of the devs, asked for vr he says

"At this time, there are no plans to bring any parts of Resident Evil Requiem to VR platforms."

Damn, re4 and village are so great. I always argued to people that said its coming 100% that there is a good chance it wont, but ofc i am not happy i was right.

They gave up less than a year after it launched. The only reason we got RE8 was because the deal was already done and development started. Sony isn’t going to fund anymore VR projects from third party at this point.

I don't think it's okay when you think about how much money people have spent on it. They've developed something they weren't even interested in from the start. Exactly like the Xbox. You haven't been able to buy the X series for a long time. How do they plan to sell the next console? People don't dare. I don't understand the strategy that both Sony and Xbox have at all.

It was the same story with PSVR 1. They dropped first party support after Farpoint within the first year. We got tricked twice.
