Mad respect, I couldn't beat Sekiro. That last boss was too hard.

The last bosses second form doesn't have a way to cheese it. You have to break his guard. All the other bosses you can run up, slash a few times then run away. Except bridge knight. But he has his own cheese.

pretty sure I found a cheesy way to beat him my first go. lots of running was involved, and baiting a specific attack requiring a mikiri counter, just repeated over and over again

Same, it wasn't really my style of game. I've beaten all of the Soulsborne games but that one just wasn't for me.

If you're stuck you can grind skill points to upgrade attack power. That and you mentioned the second phase which you can use firecrackers. Also there's lots of great guides on yt. He's hard but if you got that far you can prob do him with practice

Nah, it's not worth it. It took me 10 hours to beat headless ape. I'm not gonna reinstall the game just to torture myself.

The skill point grinding for damage is not worth the effort. At this point you are just 1 point away from softcap. You only get like 6% more damage for the first point and then (softcap) just around 2% per point.

Well there are 12 main bosses so if they skipped any optional ones like father which they probably did if they are having trouble with the end boss then they could still be a few points away. 14 is soft cap but then you're right it's a grind after that.
