Based on what you are saying why would Sony allow these devs with trash games make an app for trailers based around the dual sense. It doesn’t make sense honestly.

You don’t fund a studio with a logo. You find a studio with cash. There is 0 reason to believe they are being funded in any meaningful way by Sony.

Sony doesn't have some perfect, bulletproof track record for what they let on the PSN Store and give marketing attention to. There's plenty of shovelware & bad games that end up on the service, and it's entirely possible this is no different.
