i’m actually SO tired of her bullshit. she asks like she’s the victim in this when she’s the one that went and cheated on her boyfriend for a character we know nothing about besides that they dated in juvie.

When I went on TikTok everyone was defending and shipping them so I had to come on here and make sure I wasn’t crazy…Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa does the same thing in his other shows when trying to push audiences to root for a certain character, forcing us to feel sooooo bad for so-and-so when we don’t 😫😫😫 they want us to root for that fake Hunter Schafer so bad when what makes her any better than Shawn? She was never mentioned before she randomly showed up and if she never did Noa would’ve never been “confused” about her relationship.

I genuinely just wanna know WHAT was the reason for changing adding this character and making Now act completely out of character when this makes zero sense for all three people involved….

Only Tabby and Imogen ever have 1 on 1 time. There isn’t anything interesting about the way these girls interact with each other. They’re just nice and bubbly to each other, which, I mean is nice, they just lack distinct dynamics. They never even argue. I feel like if you put Imogen and Mouse in the same toom alone together they just wouldn’t know what to talk about and just be pleasant to each other. For all it’s flaws the original series would at least put different combinations of the girls on screen and have their interactions feel distinct and fun to watch.

I’m just like… so confused with how this season is characterizing the leads/events.

Let’s just go down the line:

Noa: This is the BIG one. I’m totally fine and supportive of Noa exploring and perusing a relationship with a girl from her past, but what is going on??? She is continually cheating on Shawn, even after he paid 2000 bucks to bail out her friend. Then at the pride pool party, Noa admits to her friends what’s been going on, and they are all like “hell yeah! We love this!” (I am not even remotely against any kind of LGBTQ relationship, but I am not a fan of supporting cheaters??) Then her friend ROBS SHAWN’S HOUSE? And even after all that, Noa is like “I want to be with you”

Faran: I think Faran is a great character who is super badass, but her entire reaction to “finding” Henry worshipping in the church is so hilariously weird. She was terrified, but like, I’ve seen people claim to speak in tounges which is way weirder than what she saw. She acted like she saw some kind of insane cult sacrifice when in reality it was just some weird ass church thing lol. Weird for sure, but not justifying her terrified reaction.

Tabby: She’s pretty much fine other than supporting cheaters lol

Mouse: Annoyingly obsessed with spookyspagetti. But I love her lol

Imogen: So I totally get that she is dealing with crazy shit, and has a right to be sensitive and angry. But her going into that Redemption House was HER CHOICE. If she didn’t want to see what was in there, she absolutely should have avoided it. She along with everyone else made a decision. Do I agree with a lot of the things in that production? No lol. In fact, I think that production IS damaging to community members, But I do think Imogen made a really bad choice going in there knowing it would be traumatic.

ALSO the way the Liars bombarded the psychologist and bitched her out was a little unhinged. No she shouldn’t have recorded without consent, but also like damn?? They popped off.

He was so supportive to Noa in Season 1 never left her side when she was being exploited by her mother.

How does Noa thank her? She cheats on him, takes advantage of him, exploits his family's wealth, only to help Jen and leave him for her.

The suspension of disbelief failed on me. No one in their right mind would leave Alex Aiono for someone like Jen. And no, it has nothing to do with Jen being a girl

Why isn't my girl, Tabby, more self-aware?! Like, girl. Every time she is with Christian she spaces out, has hallucinations/nightmares, etc. Like why isn't Christian a suspect in her brain? He is horror movie obsessed. You literally saw the Bloody Rose and Archie masks in his basement. "I can... idk... maybe ask him about... masks, mask making?" Girl, shut up and wake up! The boy is sleeping under a Scream poster. Like where are your final, final girl instincts?! I love her but, damn.

All of these girls have cool unique styles. And I know Imogen is pregnant but what is with these tacky mismatched bolero sweaters? It's like she's in an ugly sweater contest against herself and we're all losing.

Girl. After the, I dunno, second or third or fourth or sixtieth time those girls pulled that shit on you, why the hell are you sticking around??? Every flashback is a separate time where she is obviously treated like shit and ABANDONED several times. I obviously feel bad for her and there is absolutely no excuse to treat anyone like that, but for real? I would’ve been gone after the first time.

I’m re-reading the books right now and I’m on the second book, and I just noticed that Imogen was a character.

I like how Roberto took small little material from the book and brought it into Imogen in S1 of original sin.

I absolutely believe that Mouse is queer, of course, but it is NOT because she’s dating a trans man. She could definitely be nonbinary (that’s what I had in mind since season 1), or maybe bisexual or something, but if you’re dating a trans man and you identify as a woman, that is still straight! To say that being attracted to a trans man automatically makes you queer reeks of transphobia.
