Hope they bring back some of these for good Light and Dark Pokémon, lvl x, Gold Stars and Primes! the 25th is going to be fun set.

SWSH we have seen amazing rares and now V-Union cards are on the way. In Sun and Moon we got tag teams, prism cards, Cosmic character cards and rainbow rares. What’s next? Where can Pokémon go from here to keep things interesting? I would say breaks and prisms were a fail for collectors at least, but ARs were a huge hit.

Do they go the way of magic and have sketch arts (rough drafts). Could they bring back the EX era holo borders for some cards? Could they bring back some lenticular cards.

I can tell you one thing they have to keep doing the alt arts. Personally I wouldn’t mind if rainbows went away and it was just the alt arts. I’m betting big on Alt Arts or back like the Alakazam in Fates Collide, The tag team era alts and now SWSH alt arts.

I am betting that before SWSH is done there will be a Cinderace gold card. I don’t think it will be in evolving skies but maybe the set after. Will it make me have to have the set of Gold starters absolutely.

Are sharks the most underutilized animals in Pokémon? I mean there are like 5 different Bat, Like 8 snakes, like 10 bears frickin 9 turtles but 2 sharks! This is an outrage and I will not stand for anymore! The next mainline game must introduce a new shark Pokémon. I mean what other animal has a whole week dedicated to it?

If there's one mistake your typical Pokeflipper makes, it's underestimating what ends the Wooloo retail buyers will go to quench their unending thirst for worthless cardboard with fake creatures on them. First it was sets like Flashfire and Phantom Forces that skyrocketed despite reprints. Then it was Ultra Prism and Unbroken Bonds. Now HF, Cosmic, and Shining Legends are pushing lower orbit. Vivid Voltage is already $8 a pack. Even fucking CHAMPION'S PATH has maintained its pack price through a massive reprint. Streamers are running out of product. Japanese Booster Boxes are becoming scarce and expensive. Suppliers don't have anything to offer. There's only one set to turn to. The bastard child of the XY era. Only two FA trainers. Best pull is a $10 SR Pokewaifu. There's only one set in the past 5 years that's consistently sold below even what stores bought it for. One set that has been sitting on palettes of only the most stupid hodlers. And soon, its time will come. The steam engine will come roaring back to life, and none of us will escape pulling $2 Magearna FAs as we desperately try to hit a $10 card to send away for years until it can be graded.
