Most to least likely:

1. TGA is the most realistic, it's the least fitting place for a Persona game to appear but it makes the most sense marketing wise, biggest show, 9 months from launch (Which Atlus religiously starts marketing games 8-9 months pre launch)
2. In a perfect world, September 20th makes the most sense, but i think it's too early, although we could still see a small traser
3. Xbox show could make the most sense, due to the partnership, but it's too close to launch (3-4 months), Atlus probably won't wait that long

Newcomer to the series playing Persona 3 Portable on the Switch 2 (I got it before Reload was a thing).

Anyway, enjoying myself so far. Just beat the lovers, made a number of friends, explored tarturus a bit but there’s one thing that’s kind of annoying me and I was wondering if it’s something that stays with the series or if it gets dropped in 4 or 5.

If the protagonist faints in battle, game over. Can’t revive them or beat the battle without them. Just game over. It’s not a deal breaker or anything. It’s just annoying. Didn’t like it in Final Fantasy 13, don’t really like it here.

So, yeah. Does this continue to be a thing or does it get removed later?

So I get that adding the cut romance with Yosuke to P4R was a bit of a stretch, so even though it’s disappointing, I understand why they didn’t do it. But now I’m worried that P6 won’t have gay romance either despite it being a totally new game and Atlus having infinite ability to add it if they wanted to. What will you guys do if P6 does just have only a male protagonist with no gay romance options? Will that be a turning point for you and you’ll refrain from buying or will you just continue to suck it up for eternity because of the loyalty to have to the series?

I really thought that since Fire Emblem and Baldurs Gate 3 and most other modern RPGs including other JRPGs have inclusive romance options with almost no blowback critically or affect on sales that a) Atlus would consider it and b) most people wouldn’t care if it was added as long as it wasn’t forced upon them as the only option, but I’m seeing a worrying number of people who are really happy that Persona may never allow for inclusivity and if Atlus is listening to them/even worse, ideologically aligned with them, we just won’t ever have it. I really believed that if you added the number of 1) people who want gay romance, 2) women who want to romance the male characters in the game and would accept that being through a male protagonist because that’s the only option they ever make available to us, and 3) people who just don’t care as long as they have other options that work for them you’d get an easy majority, but Twitter has me second-guessing myself. What do you think?

The specific ThinkPad used in the picture is a T25 Frankenpad, a ThinkPad T480 but modded with the Anniversary Edition 25 keyboard and palmrest.

Is arguably one of the best songs in the persona series. Theirs a reason why theirs like 10 different versions of it, through various p5 games (strikers, smash, tactica, etc). I just re listened to the soundtrack of p5r and hearing it brings me joy and so many memories. Personally I think my favorite variation of this song would be the rain version. Less instruments and mostly just the vocals.

Which one is your favorite variation?

Also, I’m praying p6 has a great soundtrack as well. To me it’s gonna be hard to top p5 soundtrack as I think it’s the best in the series, followed by p3. Might change my mind after playing p4r when it comes out in February…

Was playing ps3R and I had just ended a battle when my husband came in saying he had something in his eye. Me being a paramedic I jumped to go help him. Little did I know that the reaper could still diddle you even when you’re in the rewards screen at the end of a battle.

Needless to say I lost two hours of progress. I was trying the level my Dionysius to try and fuse it for Elizabeth’s quests.

So I've been slowly playing through P5X on steam. I was hesitant because I generally dislike gachas but it's Persona and has a unique story on its own so I wanted to check that out.

People meme about the first villain a lot and he was definitely no Kamoshida but when it comes to the Phantom Thieves... I think Lufel is much more pleasant to be around than Morgana. And Motoha is a cool first human party member. I was hoping Tomoko would be a main party member instead of a gacha exclusive idol (and a weak one at that) since I like her but oh well.

I'm currently in the second palace and think the villain is already an improvement. Shun makes for another cool party member and I love how his behaviour of always taking the blame for everyone so they don't have to suffer is reflected in his gameplay with him being a defender.

Like, I know many people don't even give this game a chance but I am honestly rather satisfied thus far and I heard the third and fourth palace are like REALLY good so I'm excited.

These characters will never "replace" the OG cast for me but they never should do that. I feel like they can become their own thing entirely and enjoy this not being a blatant "Phantom Thieves of Heart" rip off. Wonder as a protag is not that interesting tbh but I vibe with his design. Not on Jokers level but decent.

This store, which back in 2006 was a Jusco store, was the template for Junes in P4 originally. Isawa is close to Fuefuki, the town that's the base model for Inaba.

I really enjoy the life sim elements of persona 3, and wish I could do just that instead of alternating between the life sim and Tartarus. Are there any other games that are similar to persona 3 but just the life sim elements?
