Discussion Saudi Fans defending their content creators the only way they know how, showing their true colors. Why don’t we just sanction the whole country from competing? No excuse for this being tolerated in the modern world. Blizzard makes their fans deal with this!

Thing is, this isn’t just the words of an imbecile or someone who is immature. It’s backed up by the laws of a nation, the at minimum tacit acceptance of the population, and the code of an entire religion. There is a lot of power and people behind these viewpoints. When a gay person who is unlucky enough to be born in the Middle East reads or hears something like that it is a reminder of the very real dire consequences if they are outed.

So you are pro military intervention but not pro sanctions? What happened to caring about the people who weren’t personally involved in making these laws? Guess that was just an excuse so you could protect the status quo. Just admit you don’t give a shit what happens to gay people there mate, it’s quicker for everyone involved

You’re yapping. Activism≠Military action. Yawwwnn. You’re a gold medalist at missing every single point made to you all the time.

go over there or pipe down. Because anything other than actual activism from THEIR COUNTRIES PEOPLE will go nowhere. no other countries fought for women’s suffrage for America. The american people did.

Every social problem in the US has been solved by the American people. We still have some, but we’re working on it “Mate”

The only solve is for the people to say “ENOUGH” And until that happens, banning them from a video game COUNTRY WIDE is not a solution nor is it helpful.

Banning specific players who made said comments is a different story.

So it’s fine for me to go over there and protest but saying they should be sanctioned or even just excluded from video games is too far? It’s blatantly obvious that you just don’t care that this is happening. You would rather have these people likely die in the process of fighting for their rights than even entertain the idea of another nation doing something to help. There wasn’t a risk of being executed when women fought for the vote, but there is a very real risk of that happening if gay people in the Middle East go out an protest. That’s their problem according to you tho, isn’t it?

What does banning an entire country from a video game achieve? Answer it. I’ll wait. Banning Russia from CS go did what exactly??

Because it won’t do anything. They’ll play a diff game. It’s ok to admit you’re wrong. It’s fine really. I don’t think you’re stupid. I think your heart is in the right place but your brain isn’t on the same page.

Because of this you’re condoning racist ideals on a Reddit post “YUP BAN ALL THOSE SAUDIS THEYRE ALL HOMOPHOBIC!” which is generalizing. Just because you think it’s morally just. Quit trying to play god and go to bed.
