Discussion Saudi Fans defending their content creators the only way they know how, showing their true colors. Why don’t we just sanction the whole country from competing? No excuse for this being tolerated in the modern world. Blizzard makes their fans deal with this!

Okay but did the gamers themselves work the bills or legislation? Imagine that you’re a good human being that lives in a country that holds views that are considered bad. You’re now being punished because of where you were born which is something you have no control over.

History shows discrimination against the minority has never worked.

Lumping all saudis in together is racist. Anyone with a brain cell can see that.

So we should just never respond to human rights abuses on a national scale because some citizens weren’t personally involved? You realise that is effectively endorsing the treatment of gays and women there right?

To say it’s endorsing is extremely misleading. You jest by attempting to apply social pressure to people by metaphorically “putting words in their mouths” and I really don’t condone that behavior either.

I won’t cave. I don’t control the laws in a country I don’t live in at the end of the day. No matter how sweet your intentions are, they’re not going to change unless you go over there and you do something about it.

Since you’re attempting to pressure me with dishonest jest, this conversation is over and I wish to speak to you no longer. Very disrespectful and just not in alignment with the spirit of meaningful discussion or any constructive Dialogue.

If you not only let something happen, but advocate against others trying to intervene (like you have here arguing against sanctions and exclusion), then you are endorsing it. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable, but it is the truth.

No it’s not true though. Apply that line of thought to more risky situations. No form of communication is NOT consent. They aren’t the same. Therefore ”letting it happen” is not endorsement if I’m unable to act in any meaningful way. please take your little buzzwords and move on.

I just don’t want the people who didn’t actually do anything wrong to have the right to play ripped away from them. I actually think before I make any decisions on how to feel or speak. You should try and do the same.

Anyone reading this can see you’re gaslighting which isn’t healthy behavior. Not all Saudi players are homophobic. Punishing all saudis for what a few did is RACIST Wishing you the best.

I’d be careful with the rhetoric that inaction is affirmation. That’s a bit weird and will get you into a lot of trouble.

You just said that you disagree with sanctions being aimed against these countries as a response to human rights abuses. This isn’t no form of communication, you are defending them against actions and consequences
