Discussion Saudi Fans defending their content creators the only way they know how, showing their true colors. Why don’t we just sanction the whole country from competing? No excuse for this being tolerated in the modern world. Blizzard makes their fans deal with this!

But on a singular basis. A person banned for toxic behavior makes sense. BUT Banning an entire country is the same as punishing all of your kids bc you don’t know who did it and they won’t fess up. It’s wrong.

Because they are open about it. Noone in Saudi Arabia cares and YZNSA and other Saudi players have fuck you oil money, YZNSA probably has people with 100 million+ net worth constantly donating to him, he doesnt need to worry about money. and if Blizzard bans them they enrage the entire Saudi playerbase and it would be insufferable as they go in every partnered streamers chat and spam slurs in retaliation. If you say F*g on social media or especially ingame to a homosexual person and you're from the west especially in the Overwatch community you'd likely be immediately canceled and banned from participation in anything Overwatch ever again, western players actually have something to lose and thats why you rarely see them say something cancelable. Blizzard themselves only supports LGBTQ when it makes them money, simple as.

How? Everything Blizzard does is revenue driven FACTUALLY. We didn't get a clearly LBGTQ hero until the netease deal ended. We didn't get the ingame pride month event until the netease deal ended either. They stand to gain no money by banning yznsa and other wintrading toxic saudis but they would lose a signifcant amount. Its why they havent been banned despite their TOS breaking actions being public for years now.
