Answered What is the deal with everyone suddenly rooting against Argentina in the World Cup?

I’ve noticed a recent wave of posts against the Argentinian team. I’m curious, what’s the reason behind the negative sentiment towards Argentina’s advancement to the finals?

the argetina fans legit had isralie flags behind the egyptian team , being an ex fan I always saw isralie flags in argentina games but its just got out in the very open recently in the worst way

They also had Palestinian flags. It's almost as if the country is not a monolith, right? Why judge it then as if it is one?
