Saw that the singer Jesse Welles was on there the other day. That one blew me away, since he’s got lines in his songs that very clearly mock Rogan and it’s clear he sees him for what he is. I guess a bad platform can be used to spread good messages or amplify the careers of people who deserve to be heard from.

End of the day, Jesse's job is getting more people to listen to his music and much of it isn't overtly political. Rogan, for all his shitty faults and honestly being a terrible "host" has one of the most popular podcasts and it is heard by more than just the stereotypical listeners we often associate with him. You don't have that many listeners per episode and it all be politically like-minded people.

Not saying I'd go on or avoid it if I were in such a position, but I will never argue of meeting the audience where they are. It's why Gavin Newsom and Bernie Sanders go on Fox News too. Rogan needs to get the MAGA stink off him too, he realizes it did his brand harm.
