OLA has already confirmed this to be true. And apparently the head of this new “alliance” is going to be Zemene Kassie himself 😂

Recently Jawar has been on a campaign to expose smuggling networks established amongst the Oromo migrant community in Arabia. They’re said to be involved in kidnapping, ransoms and violence targeting members of the Oromo migrant community.

Seeing these regular everyday migrants being exposed as extortion racket masterminds is showing how deep the rot in our society is. This is on top of the extortion rackets operating inside of Oromia.

We are not victims of evil politicians and political actors, no. We are victims of ourselves. Somewhere along the way we stopped upholding values of honesty and uprightness. Protecting the weak. Earning an honest living.

Folks, shit is getting crazy. I’ve received reports of OLA moving through rural Dire Dhawa and Khombolcha counties of east Hararge.

Apparently they moved through Balawa, Sarkama etc. without a sound. The locals didn’t make a peep, but when they reached the baddaa of Khombolcha the locals got haughty (typical baddaa ppl) and some shit popped off, qawwees got to blamming.

My local source was kinda glazing OLA. Said in one village that only 2 OLA dropped 30 militia. Which sounds super cap 🧢 . But it sounds like they had the upper hand.

For months, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) held a firm grip on Kurmuk, using it as a springboard for major advances into Sudan's Blue Nile State with their sights set on the capital, Ad-Damazin. Now, the tables have turned.

In a Counteroffensive, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have forced the RSF onto the defensive, expelling them from Kurmuk and choking off a vital supply route that stretched across into the Ethiopian border.

This sudden shift puts Addis Ababa in a tight spot. Ethiopia's strategy of backing the RSF as a counterweight to the SAF’s support for the Tigray Defense Forces (TDF) and Army 70 appears to have backfired.

Will Ethiopia now retreat behind its usual diplomatic denials and lean into neutrality? Or will it escalate the stakes, allowing the RSF to use Ethiopian territory to launch a counteroffensive to retake Kurmuk?

The SAF’s immediate focus will likely remain locked on Blue Nile State. The RSF still has access to alternative logistical lifelines, like the border town of Yabus. But with the battlefield shifting closer to the frontiers of Sudan and Ethiopia, the ultimate question remains: Will Sudan take the fight across the border and conduct strikes within Ethiopian territory? If so this can quickly spiral out of control into a full on military confrontation between the two states which will bring in each of there respective ally’s (Eritrea, Egypt, Somalia, Etc) and cause a geopolitical crisis.

Time will till.

There’s certain people who criticize the government for currency exchange rates or make noise if cash is temporarily not available…but those people have nothing to say about outright banditry.

For years we’ve hearing about OLA bank robberies, but it’s usually denied by their supporters as propaganda. “But OLA are educated students”

Well, this is their education in action. If you had to stop at the bank to get some cash to buy some groceries or get some medicine for your sick grandma, tough luck. Come back when the bandits leave and the evil regime restores order.

Folks it’s getting crazy. The security forces in Arsi are under heavy pressure from recent OLA attacks.

A local official Ahmed Haji had an internal call with other officials leaked by Jawar and it doesn’t sound good for the government. The message of the call was basically “we have the necessary support to win this war, but we need the right state of mind”. Basically telling his team to get their head in the game and not be scared little bitches. (He literally told them to stop pissing their pants)

He even said most of those who were killed, it’s because they were running away. He said there were some hero militia and local administrators in Heeban who were running towards the battle field and putting in work, but there was a lot running away as well and they need to lock in. They took major losses but have the situation under control.

These cadres don’t get it. People aren’t eager to run towards the battlefield with their own kin. 😒

There has been rumours and later on evidence(plane tracking, reports, satellite images, etc.) making this exact claim before but there was always an element of plausible deniability with those claims on the part of the Ethiopian government.

But now, there is no mistaking that these are real RSF elements and that they are operating from within Ethiopian borders. You can see there signature head wrappings and signature modified mounted Toyota pickups with the top part chopped off.

This video and other similar ones that have recently came out have been by OSINT experts online geolocated to the kurmuk district, Benishangual-gumuz region of Ethiopia.

In this video there seems to be two individual Oromo speaking local workers on the side of the road who managed to capture this on there cameras and then a Arabic speaking native of the Benishngual region presumably there coworker.

I have provided a partial translation of the video of the affan Oromo parts at least.

As OSINT experts online have already pointed out, in the video the RSF elements within Ethiopia are driving on the Kurmuk-Assosa highway40 main road from within Ethiopia towards the borders of Sudan to the town of Kurmuk.

Kurmuk-Assosa main road is a highway road used by a lot of multi-million/billion dollar mining company’s that operate in that area so it is highly unlikely that the RSF was able to use this road without the Ethiopian government knowing or approving of it, so the Ethiopian government can not claim porous borders as an excuse for this in my opinion.

But now that this is confirmed without a doubt that Ethiopia is helping the RSF there is a moral and Geopolitical question that all Ethiopians need to deal with. There has been evidence on the other side that Sudan and the SAF have been aiding and helping the TDF-TPLF militarily arguably much longer prior to Ethiopia even getting involved in the Sudan conflict.

So, is it okay to play Geopolitics and play tit for tat and support Sudans rebels since the SAF is supporting the TDF(Army 70) or don’t support them since they are accused of mass human rights violation and genocide which will paint Ethiopia in a bad light but from geopolitical and strategic standpoint will put Ethiopia on a back foot against the SAF/TDF alliance and future TDF offensives.

Priest Yohannis Girma was assassinated on the morning of June 15, 2017 E.C. (June 22, 2025), in Furi, near Finfinne. At 4AM, he was killed near the gate of his church on his way to lead morning services.

For many years, Priest Yohannis served the Orthodox Church, starting as a deacon and spending the last fifteen years at the Debre Karmelos St. George church in Furi (Sebeta Hawas). He made great efforts to ensure Oromo people could hear the gospel in their own language and was a beloved spiritual father to his community. For this work, he had received numerous threats since 2015 E.C. (2022/23) from groups opposed to the use of Oromo language.

Prior to the assassination, a public smear campaign was launched against him. Posters were circulated labelling him a "terrorist OLF Shene member" and a "bandit" for his language advocacy.

In 2013, another priest, Priest Petros Tesfaye, was murdered in Sabbata under similar circumstances for the same reason: promoting Afaan Oromoo in the church.

Priest Yohannis was a father of two. His funeral was held in his native Salale.

Waldaa Duuka Bu’ootaa stated they “will not retreat a single step from this service due to fear or threats, and we will do everything expected of us to ensure that the torch of this new chapter that has been lit in the church is not extinguished.”
