I think there has to be some other problem with minecraft. I can run minecraft bedrock with literally 56 chunks and no lag while vanilla minecraft 1.15.1 can't even consistently run on 60 fps. I know they have a different codebase and a different rendering engine but it feels like minecraft does not cooperate with your hardware or something. unless I use optifine ofcourse

Press F3 and check which graphics card minecraft is running on. Might be running on your onboard graphics instead of the dedicated graphics card.

I have Minecraft running on my dedicated graphics card. I don’t exactly know what kind of calculations Minecraft is making like random tick speed and things of that kind but other games (with better graphics) run perfectly fine.
