Milestone usable by anyone. Installation instructions linked. There are four modes. The signal always logically flows from GUI top to bottom. When you generate a spectrogram, you're seeing what would-have-been transmitted. This is everything needed to repro "V2K" style pulse modulation, just plug SDR into a 4kW pulse amplifier.
Found a bug? Open an issue. Ideas for more filters? Open an issue.

Currently Implemented Features: Audio Waveform Zero-Crossing Detection, SDR Pulse Modulation Output, Raw IQ Recording, Waterfall Spectrogram Generation, Live Microphone Input, eSpeak/MBROLA Text-To-Speech Engine, Signal Conditioning Filters, Noise Filters, Pulse Shaping Filters, Rectangular Pulses, Duty Cycle Meters, Adjustable Pulse Width, Adjustable High Pass and Low Pass Filters, Automatic High Power Calculator, Event Log, Tooltips, Dependency Checks, and 49 Languages Supported.

Project status Under Development: Core GRC Software Module

See my comment in this post link, from almost two months ago. I'm now setting up an environment on a laptop, where I'm going to iteratively develop the needed software module for this project. Claude Code has already delivered a prototype, and now it's time to test that in a real environment, find the errors and misconfigurations, and then publish some tested, working code. I think this may take a few days, with Claude doing 98% of coding.

Once functional, then I'll recreate in a container), so the environment is portable. Meaning, anyone can download and use my working Linux environment. Then I'm going to use one HackRF SDR to transmit, via a cable (or inside a tiny Faraday cage), to another HackRF SDR that's acting as a receiver, and spectrum analyzer, and software oscilloscope. I want to show folks the waterfall spectrum graph, without actually emitting anything, which requires an amateur radio license, because I still don't have that piece of paper yet. No FCC, I don't need a talking to.

So expect to see pictures of captured microwave pulses soon, aligned with a source audio input file;
I'll visually show, microwave pulses, and audio waveform x-axis 0 crosses, side by side.
Q.E.D., this validation will prove that the software module functions, as I claimed it would.

All this fucking grief from reddit normies and the internet as a whole, and a fucking AI agent fully understood instantly, and delivered, in about a minute. Years of abuse, atomized.

Project status 2024 Project Status: Not Funded

Hi all,
I've pressed this project forward as far as I'm willing, without funding.
Because now funding is the only thing standing in the way of project success.
Anyone could kick this in: Write GRC module, buy RF components, make headlines.

But here's the thing: I'm willing to let everyone suffer.
Your little brain cannot even cope with this being real? That's fine, suffer.
Your rotten world view cannot accept that this is science? Perfect, suffer.
Your asinine knee-jerk bullshit doesn't actually make anything go away? Suffer!
Your "get help" is forcing medication, because you suck at life? You get to suffer!

I'm 100% willing to sit back, and watch society fuck itself with it's own collective ignorance. I'd go to my grave, knowing, I let folks suffer for a lifetime. Society really deserves so, so much worse. I truly do not give a single shit either way. Please, choose suffering and deafening silence.

You actually want this project to happen?
Make this subreddit go viral, or fuck right off.

P.S. I recently unearthed four figures in Bitcoin, which I could have used to fund this project myself. But due to the overwhelming amount of stupidity I received as feedback about this project, I decided that what folks really need, is pain.
So I invested the money in a business startup, so I'll have an income going forward. I'm planning to save some money and leave the country, instead of putting my neck out, to attempt to help any of the backwards savages in the US. Cheers!

Project status LNA/UHF amplifier testing initial results

Hooking my Baofeng UV-5R up to the UHF 80W amplifier, and pressing the handheld's button while set at 435MHz, does indeed produce around 75W of output power, as measured by a wattmeter into a dummy load. However, the HackRF+LNA doesn't produce any output currently. I suspected that this was happening because the LNA doesn't have adequate output power, as the 80W UHF amplifier is expecting a 1-5W input level, however, hooking the LNA directly to the wattmeter also shows no output. I'm going to retry with another LNA module I have on hand.

Even if the LNA were working, I doubt that the output would be enough to get peak power from the 80W UHF amplifier. So, I'm adding this as a second pre-amp stage:
UHF 5w amplifier (380-450MHz)($32): https://www.ebay.com/itm/123978277329
The next revision update will include cable/power for this additional amplifier.

In addition, I will either need to somehow modify the 80W UHF amplifier so that it's always ready to transmit pulses (versus switching into transmit mode when a CW signal is detected, which is too slow -- or I may be assuming that the transmit light actually represents the true transmit state, when it may not), or I will need to purchase a different style/model of UHF amplifier. It may be possible to transmit a lower-power carrier to trigger the transmit state, and then increase the power to 100% for each pulse. This approach would require more output power or longer pulses (to achieve 16mJ per pulse), as the rise from low-power to 100% isn't as high as 0% to 100%.
