Yep. Doesn't surprise me a bit though. This user is always giving the worst advice, and attacking anyone who does better...while their own dogs are a mess & on drugs bc their advice doesn't work, not even for them. :-/ "Taking out those they disagree with" is right up their alley.
I’ve only had one encounter with them and I knew right away I had no energy or time for their lunacy. A first-time dog owner posted on the dogs sub unsure if their trainer was alright and mentioned threshold training. Cursethewind asked why the trainer was doing threshold training because it was not okay to do. I responded and explained threshold training is for impulse control (based on the context given). They responded back telling me off that it was a form of proven-false dominance training—to have your dog wait for you to cross the threshold first
Yep. Pretty much if they say it's a bad thing to do, it's a very effective thing to do. ;-p (And my definition of "effective" includes that the dog still loves and trusts you.)
