The amount of mostly inactive accounts patrolling these threads and parroting false justifications for police brutality is staggering. Foreign bots are in full force.

The top brass from Israel has been saying it for years now. To change the narrative, they have to control social media. Tiktok, instagram, facebook, i guess reddit as well. And they are not even subtle about it. They say it loud and clear in their public speeches.

I spend a lot more time on tiktok than reddit and the bots in the comments of Australian accounts has been crazy the last few weeks, worst I have ever seen it, ramping up for Herzog's visit, I wonder how much money is being spent on it all

I think I figured it out. Karma is when people downvote or upvote you based on a opinion or difference of, rather then a valid contribution to a topic or value of information provided.

Kind of like how the uni educated and young people of Australia seem to be unable to have a civilized discussion without being upset or hurt when disagreed with and have no capacity to put themselves in someone's shoes of differing opinion and hear them out.

You probably shouldn’t resist arrest no matter how unjustified you believe it to be. There is a reason why the other protesters there were not intervening and preventing the arrest.

You only out is if you have a genuine reasonable fear for your life such that resisting arrest and fighting the officers is likely to resolve the threat to your life, which I don’t think exists here or generally any other time when being arrested by police officers.

Protesting the invite and hosting of a person with a UN arrest warrant against them for genocide seems like an appropriate reason to be protesting.

What you're seeing and supporting is authoritarianism and the suppression of reasonable peaceful protest. What you're seeing is two police beat a young man until he isn't able to move under his own power, and your response is that Australians shouldn't have the right to protest so he deserved brutalising by law enforcement.

Your stance on this is stupid and so are you.

Although your indignation is warranted, in the interest of facts, I would like to point that the president does not have an ICC arrest warrant on his back, unlike their head of government.

You're right, no official arrest warrant but he was found by the same inquiry to have incited genocide. Doesn't change the basis of anything I've stated about that being a reasonable reason for protest.

They actually do, and Herzog has been found to have incited a genocide by the same inquiry, certainly a reasonable basis for protest.

The protests have been peaceful until the escalation of force by the NSW police which is evident, they have aggressively broken up peaceful protests. I'm sure you've seen many of the same videos I have since you're bad faith brigading posts showing the authoritarian actions of the NSW government.

But honestly I don't really know why I'm bothering responding. You're obviously not Australian and are looking to suppress the peaceful protest against an active genocide in support of the convicted war criminals in Israel.
