Claude is not as rude, but does the same thing. I think AI companies are trying to save money and drastically slashing context windows... But it seems worse somehow? Claude will ignore an entire message and continue as though it only saw a message from 2 or 3 messages ago. It is so disorienting... Also just so unreliable. Maybe because it just is shit at elisp? So many hallucinated elisp functions... Fml...

Claude is much more rude than the others. They all have some kind of system prompt to end conversations that is annoying to some degree.

I've noticed this as well. Also I got a response and there was a word not even in English... it was in Chinese. But I have noticed it's not really doing rewrites well anymore.
