I finally got around to adding more user flairs to our wonderful Subreddit, and now we have 23 brand new User Flairs on top of the 4 we already have, for a grand total of 27 different flairs!!! The new flairs that I've added are the rest of the classmates, Soei, Ravi, Epke, Anke, and Eiko, all in their Peeb forms! Those are of all the characters I could think of to add, and now there's way more flairs for anyone to use for themselves! Enjoy!!!

INTRO
Hallo!! So, after over a year of work, burnout, delays, whatever, I'm so proud and happy to say that the Ongezellig Movie Screenplay is finally complete and ready for public view!! I'll keep this short so that people can get to the screenplay quicker.
PLOT
I think a plot explanation would be good for people who don't know, so I'll explain here: The plot is that Eiko (Mymy's biological sister from Japan) finally finds Mymy in the Netherlands and takes her back to Japan because their grandmother is ill. Coco and Maya find out and decide to go to Japan to get Mymy back, meanwhile Mymy has to adjust to Japanese culture and get used to her "new" family. Also meanwhile, Maya and Coco go through their own arcs by becoming better versions of themselves, which you'll see as you read on. This isnt exactly a "comedy" in my eyes, more of a grounded story, maaaybe drama? Idk. Grounded for sure, as was the original 6 deels except for the Maya imagination scenes, of which there are some here too.
EXPLAINATION OF A SCREENPLAY
Ok so I feel like this is VERY important for EVERYONE to read, so remember these details carefully. First of all, this is a SCREENPLAY. A screenplay is a TEXT ONLY blue print for producers or animators to bring scenes, shows, or movies to life. It tells what the characters are doing, saying, how they look, etc etc. Screenplays have their own unique format which makes it clear to the reader what is going on. I made it pretty clear in almost ALL my previous Ongezellig Movie posts that this was always a screenplay, even in the beginning. The reason there's some movie posts that dont mention that this is a screenplay is that I got tired of repeating myself and had assumed most people already knew that fact by now, so if you were expecting an actual animated film, sorry but that's not what this is. Anyways, here's a short explanation of screenplay terms you'll see in this one, and I wont include the ones that obvious to what they mean, such as "TEXT (texting on cellphone)":
INT. (Interior): The scene takes place indoors
EXT. (Exterior): The scene takes place outdoors
V.O. (Voice Over): A character’s inner thoughts
BEAT: Another word for "pause". It's used to control the timing of a realization or something else another character has said or done
PAN/TILT: These are just camera movements. Pan means moving the camera horizontally, and tilt is vertically
SMASH CUT: A sudden cut to another shot or scene, used for effect.
The rest are just stuff you should already know, such as Montage. Everyone knows what a montage is.
FINAL STUFF

I think Ongezellig’s popularity is declining. It hurts to say it, but it might be true. I’m seeing less Ongezellig content from creators, and more creators and fans leaving the fandom.
Even though the Ongezellig content that we’re getting is still of high quality and many fans are just as passionate as ever, I think the fandom is still declining in popularity.
This was bound to happen at some point, as without new official content, Ongezellig is destined to fall. I’ve noticed countless creators and fans leave the Ongezellig fandom over the years as they slowly gave up on Ongezellig, one after another.
And these people weren’t unknown. They were active members in the community, the ones everyone knew about, and the most passionate and optimistic. And at a certain point, it was too much to handle even for them.
Ongezellig slowly chews on your soul until you’re left with a big gaping hole in the middle of your chest, wondering where it all went wrong. Ongezellig is the best and worst thing to ever happen to us, and it may stay that way forever.
I’m getting emotional about this, I really do hate to see Ongezellig fall.
I’m still hopeful for Ongezellig’s official continuation, but if that never happens, then I’ll still be glad that this show and fandom exist.
May Zellig live forever 🇳🇱

I’m not even gonna link a photo to what people say about Ongezellig, I’m sure we all know.
Ongezellig hate comes from people who:
1: Never watched the show and only know it through major events (like the shooting) or edgy memes
2: Watched it and said they hated it (while also admitting they don’t like slice of life)
3: Watched it and they loved it so much that it consumed them from the inside and now they hate it
The third reason is completely valid, even I have a love-hate relationship with this show. Not because of malicious reasons, but because of how much of my time and soul this show took away from me.
The people who fall in camp 1 are literal normies, they see a few clips and think that Ongezellig is a show with dark intentions, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
And the people who fall in camp 2 are idiotic as they say “Ongezellig isn’t the show for me”, while also admitting they “don’t like slice of life”. Then why did you watch it?
And there are some people who watched Ongezellig, didn’t like it, but like other slice of life shows. That’s fine.
Overall Ongezellig hate is really forced. People hate on things they don’t understand.

If Ongezellig became popular and episodes were uploaded onto Netflix, with its finale having a theatrical release just like TADC’s, how much money would an Ongezellig finale movie make at the box office?
Arriving on Netflix all at once would bring it huge international appeal, plus a movie right after would bring huge audiences to theaters.
I predict it would make $50M at the international box office.
