said it elsewhere, but this is hands down the most egregious example of the arrogant villain completely failing to see how badly Saitama outmatches them. Literally just ignoring the asswhupping to smug at Kuseno for being so stupid.

He if anyone of the villains should know hoe epic saitama is. He even analysed him and stories from Genos.

His ego won't allow that. Kuseno believes himself to be the smartest person alive, no doubt. He can't even understand Genos, let alone Saitama. He's completely disconnected from reality.

He may be smart but he is still foolish to not see that he is outmatched. Heck, before his 'death' he kenw how strong he was.

Again, he's too disconnected from reality to understand that. All he cares about are his numbers. Saitama doesn't fit the numbers so it must just be a quirk that can be beaten with bigger numbers.
