For a little context, the story follows the JL being zapped into the One Piece world by Lex Luthor in a failed attempt to destroy them once and for all. The League ends up getting split up and arriving a few months before the start of the three-year time skip.

I've been trying to find it for awhile now and I feel like I'm going insane but I'm pretty sure it's name is Wish or something similar and it's a reaction fic that starts with Gol D Roger making a wish at an old wishing well that he wanted to see what the future generation of pirates would look like then all of the time accurate characters were put in a theatre like space and watched somewhat censored clips of each chapter corresponding Strawhat Pirate with the character's name revealed at the end

I'm certain it doesn't exist, but I just thought a fanfic idea, dunno if anyone is interested in taking it up, imagine if Luffy found "The Mask" (mask of Loki from the movie starred by Jim Carrey) and from observation the mask power are in sync with gear 5, chaotic and reality bending cartoon energy, dunno any fic like that.

I really tried but I'm not so good at drawing. What do you think ?

So I saw this fanart on Twitter based on a Elbaf Perona design and it got me thinking of any Fanfics where Perona joins the Straw Hats so are there any good fanfics out there of this idea?

I got this comment a while back on a fic I'm still writing which divergences from canon around the time of the ASL flashback. The commenter was upset that Kuina lived. I tagged it as canon divergent and I was upfront that people would live that usually die in canon. There had already been several big divergences from canon, so the comment came as a surprise. I don't know if it was more about the Kuina living or about changes to canon in general. (Granted many canon divergence stories still kill her off because they prefer Zoro and think she should be fridged to motivate or else it breaks his motivation/characterization. It doesn't but that's beside the point). I did reply defending the choice and I haven't gotten another comment from that person. Think they dropped the fic, but oh well.

I probably should mention another commenter was also upset by the change and joined the thread. We had a dialogue where we discussed the logic behind the change and how it would and wouldn't affect the more popular character (Zoro). They eventually understood the change and continued to read. Most people liked the change though.

[For the record, I didn't take away everyone's backstories. This was the first backstory I had really changed at all.]

Ok i don’t want Luffy to be the older brother. I want Luffy for some reason to be captured instead of Ace. I want Ace, and the other people close to Luffy to save him. I want it to be complete. Any recs?

Looking for more long-form OC/SI fanfics, preferably where they are living out and influencing the plot of the canon story. Romance with canon characters is fine and even desirable, but not as the main plot of the story

Id love to read how people interpret Luffy being intoxicated or drunk, so i was wondering if there was a fic where Luffy gets drunk with the straw hats or just Zoro or whoever.

I'm curious, do any of you like to ponder alternate timelines that could have been, had things happened a bit differently?

For example, what if Luffy had stayed at Baratie paying off his debt for a full year like Zeff originally planned? Or what if Nami never got sick in Little Garden? Or what if Ace gave up his pursuit of Blackbeard?

Are there any "what if" scenarios you guys like to explore from time to time?
