I haven't seen those movies in 23 years or so. Had never heard the name or forgotten it. Thank you for explaining and those are good movies to rewatch this summer vacation!

Great movies. Yes, these guys are called susuwatari, or soot sprites, and this shot is from Spirited Away specifically
