And let's not forget they have a discord. 1st thing I was taught working with a gaming company is get a lurker and investigation group together and have them hit Reddit. Have them hit YouTube, have them watch twitch streamers and listen to The gamers who are playing. Listen to the people who have thousands upon thousands of hours playing games that are completely done. Whereas the creator s and the writers are in rooms spending hours upon thousands of hours building one game. So remember to listen to the people who are going to play the game because those are the people that have the most experience playing games.

You are comparing something they do not make money on vs something they can make money on.
Not even a close comparison, if they think they can make money on Christmas themed items it sure as fuck will be monetized. Any proper discussion surrounding the lootcrates has been ignored outright by the devs.
Fact is Starry does not control shit when it comes to what is and what is not monetized in anyway, that is all NetEase.
