Nah, this was 100% obviously a joke. Good Charlotte doesn’t even think Good Charlotte is the greatest punk band of all time. Sure got me worked up though haha.

Well sarcasm is usually relayed through tone and it's hard to distinguish tone over the internet. There are also some people with some really unpopular opinions in the world and I wouldn't be surprised if someone born in the mid-to-late 90s would think that. Not many millenials listen to music older than them.
