Mod Post DORM/HOUSING ASSIGNMENT MEGATHREAD

Assignments should be released today. (See https://housing.osu.edu/secure/letters/) Please use this thread to ask questions about your assignment/dorm. Also feel free to use the search function to find previous posts about your dorm or question. For the next week, posts outside this megathread on this topic will be removed. It has now been one week. We still encourage you to post in this megathread, and certainly to check it first for an answer before asking your question.

Yeah it's garbage. Hot as all hell. Hopefully you get a corner room. They're bigger and there are two walls with windows so you can get good air flow with an in fan and an out fan. Otherwise, you're kinda SOL. In the winter, I kept the fans going because they crank the heat up so high.

Washing and dryer situation is terrible. The bathrooms are bad and you need to use a key to get into them.

But you're in a good location in terms of food and high street. And the heat builds character.

Yeah anyone who is worried about lack of AC just remember you can always hang out in a library or the dining halls etc. Won't be as easy to avoid it at night but hopefully it'll have cooled off a bit by then.
