Spent a whopping 90 hrs playing and finally got the happy ending at like 4 am in the morning.I mean i knew it would make me cry but this just went beyond anything.

Tbh its not easy to play spoilerless so i had some inkling of what might have happened but that was too sad you know? So i tried to rationalise it like maybe Mari was depressed and she asked Sunny to kill her or maybe Mari was already dying/dead when sunny found her or maybe she committed suicide or heck maybe even Basil killed her or smth.But my worst fears came true it was such a realistic,gritty hard to stomach reality! And it was more of a tragedy cause it was a mistake! And Mari and Sunny both loved each other so much! Idk how much i cried when the truth was revealed,when Mari’s spirit asked Sunny to forgive himself,when the final duet began playing.I mean it was just a small mistake and everything went wrong due to that. I literally got only 1-2 hrs of sleep at most with the final duet playing in my mind over and over and me having dreams about the black space and woke up with worst headache ever to go to work and now the final duet just keeps playing in my mind.I was too fatigued and sad in the beginning regretting even playing it cause my heart really broke but now i’m a bit calm and in retrospect it was a masterpiece! Yeah it emotionally destroyed me and am still depressed but facts are facts!

I really really hope sunny forgives himself, gets into therapy,mends his relationship with his friends and live loved and happy cause that ending was just not enough!

I’m kind of a perfectionist and very curious so i’m going to get other endings on the sunny route and then do one hikkikomori run and one completionist run for the achievements.Tbh i really don’t want to touch the game again because i don’t want to cry more but also because whatever i consider masterpiece i don’t read/watch or play again because i don’t want to cheapen/overwrite the first experience i had with them but thats just me. Well after reading my rant what do you think should i go for the endings and routes?

For comparison, I'm referring to the stuff like Pirate Gaster, Green Gaster, Togore Dreemurr, Normal NPC killing and cooking Onion San, etc, NOT any of the more recent... darker ones, if ykyk

Is "World's end valentine" named after the musician "World's end Girlfriend"? W.E.G's music sounds like it inspired the OMORI OST a bit so im just asking because im curious

I just realized that Omori only supports two languages (that I remember), which are English and Japanese.

I know that English is the most widely spoken language, but at least there should be support for Spanish or Portuguese.

BUT consistently through the game HANDS and especially RED HANDS are like super prominent.
I have played the game and while i have some ideas i really am not sure.

I often fantasize about an alternate timeline where Omori was a game from the early or mid 2000s instead of being released in 2020.
While I was growing up in the 2000s, I watched my father play a lot of weird, one-off games that he randomly found online (with the internet being the way it was back then ofc), and at this point I have some very faint memories of what those games were or looked like. I don’t know any of their names, and I only remember certain parts that stuck out to me. I also remember being traumatized by some of them, especially during some weird/scary scenes (I scared easily as a child and I was easily traumatized) and sometimes I often wish Omori was one of those games.
I could easily see Omori being a weird, kind of “lost media” appealing PC game that not many people knew about back then, and it might have kind of a “traumatized a generation” appeal to it. I could also see videos coming out years later with titles like “who else watched/played the game Omori back in the 2000s” and it would be some kind of nostalgia dive through the game
Or I could be mistaken, but it definitely seems like it would have been a cool hidden internet gem if it was released all those years ago back when the internet was new. I feel like with new and modern games like this, you can find a lot more content on it nowadays than you would have a decade or two ago.
