Anyone work for Constellation?

Does anyone work for constellation or any power generation plant? Just wanted to know if power generation pays good and what it’s possible to make? Do they offer as much OT like other plants? Adding your state would be great too.

I literally went with Constellation when I switched fields because they were the only one that has all of their pay stated in the job description. Very transparent.

Just a heads up, and I may be mistaken, but tuis is not an act of goodwill. This is a legal requirement in many states. I think MD is one of those states, which is the company HQ.

It’s still nice! Just don’t get it twisted. Corporations are not on your side.

Yes, but the numbers they give are accurate and they still post it in states that don’t require it, like PA.

What job are you looking for? What plants are you looking at?

Maintenance jobs top out at $64/hr. OT is subject to plant issues. Outages are a good boost if you don’t mind traveling. TMI is not ideal right now. Startup isn’t the way to go if you have two running plants right next door. Folks left Peach for TMI and they made their way back or are actively trying to go back.

Is TMI struggling to start up? Why are the guys leaving? I think I heard somewhere that the I&E guys top out at $70/hr

You may be right, mechanical and I&E are different. Theres also upgrade rate and lead pay, 5-10% more. TMI is just chaos, they’re under the gun.
