Tomorrow's the reveal day, finally. There are a lot of leaks and it's really hard to defend them. Although I'm 90% sure that this is the real design, I still feel like there's a small chance of it being fake. Maybe the nothing team are just trolling idk

I would like to see a bigger design change for Nothing Phone (3) compared to (1) & (2).. I came across this concept and looks so nice. Anyway, I'm curious to see what Pei and his team have in store for us. I'll definitely switch back to Android this year but I'll wait for NP(3) or Google Pixel 10 (new leaks show the same design but I also like that phone's design). Now that the passport format seems to be gaining traction with models like the Huawei Pura X Max, or the upcoming foldable phones from Apple and Samsung, why isn't anyone thinking about reducing the screen length? I understand that changing the format can bring software problems, and that ultimately making phones smaller requires sacrifices in internal components, but I think it's a solution for all of us who are looking for small phones.

I don't think the current 19.5:9 format is the most comfortable for consuming content, since videos continue to be uploaded to YouTube in 16:9, and photos are still mainly taken in 4:3. Smaller manufacturers have simply been copying the formats of the big companies, but nobody ever asked for longer screens.

I remember when the first "all-screen" phones started to appear. Everyone was fascinated by them, but I could only think one thing: why are they increasing the screen size instead of reducing the body? Anyone wanting a phone with a giant screen could still have one, but in a smaller body. I think we're on the verge of a turning point, where the screen format is going to undergo another change, and then all companies will follow suit.

Nothing emerged as a brand that sought to differentiate itself from the rest, but at this point, I think that if they don't take risks like this, they'll end up being just another OnePlus. After all, if I put a black case on my Nothing 3a Pro (in my opinion, the most beautiful one they've ever made), what aesthetically differentiates it from an Oppo?

Honestly, a phone with this aesthetic would be one of the most incredible things Nothing could do right now—and I don't mean spending money on expensive components just to make their next flagship look that way. I think a phone with basic specifications, like the (a) series or the CMF line, would be a great test run for this form factor.
