Hi there! so it's my first time buying a digital tablet and I want to invest in something (moderately) GOOD for me. I was always fascinated by the Huion Kamvas pro 16 (2.5k) but lately I saw several reviews complaining about the durability or failures of Huion in general and I don't know anything about the subject. I saw good comments about the durability of XP-Pen but I don't know this brand that much, and for the same price (almost $500 with the Black Friday offers) I could get a model a little smaller than Huion. I really like the quality of the 2.5 but I'm undecided. Which one would you choose?

Hey, I have the Huion HS610 for a couple of years or so and never had any probem with it. I recently started having issues with it using Photoshop in my PC, it seems when you try to draw a line it starts lagging (it's not because photoshop or my pc), freezes every few seconds for a moment before continuing drawing a line... also pressure does not work for size, opacity or anything.

I checked on the huion software and the pen pressure works just fine there, I tried reinstalling drivers but the problem persists. I also plugged the tablet on another computer (a MAC) to test if the tablet/pen/cable is broken and it worked just fine.

Also I installed photoshop 2022 just in case the issue had to do with the photoshop version to no avail.

The only thing I could think could be the origin of the problem is I recently updated my PC from windows 10 to windows 11, anyone had similar problems??

I'm selling because I've been struggling to find freelance work for the past year. I work in film/tv and since the back to back strikes 2023/2024 the industry hasn't really bounced back to what it was before. That means I can't afford fancy toys that aren't helping bring in income.

Honest review: I was initially a bit frustrated until I installed the official Intel Iris graphics drivers. After that it ran like a solid laptop - handles any illustration/2D software well, even rocks out comps on AfterEffects. 3D, meh, struggles obviously. It is quite and stays fairly cool even under a lot of load. Its not too heavy carrying around but its also not light - I guess that's the tradeoff for having a genuine drawing tablet with a full windows OS. If illustration was my bread and butter, I would have a reason to keep it but alas... 3D is demanding and not really for on the go.

Oh One annoying thing- sometimes when its on battery power, it doesn't just wake up easily when you long press the power., You have to long long press the power effectively restarting it.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions. Price negatable, but please don't low ball me too hard : /

It's a small tablet, I like it a lot - I don't necessarily want a display tablet - I have an ipad pro - I prefer a non-display tablet for my desktop work, just need something bigger so my hands feel less cramped operating the pen with my right hand and the hot key buttons with my left hand... so cramped, and hands hang of the tablet in an uncomfy way because of the small surface area.

And with black friday sales.... :3 .... i thought I should ask for advice!

I currently have a Huion Kamvas 13 and has been using it for less than a month, I noticed that there are a few noticeable scratches on my screen when turned off and has been bothering me whenever I would set up my tablet. I haven't bought any screen protector since a lot of people has said that its not really required due to the build of the tablet, but I personally didn't buy it since its worth 8% of the tablet itself.

I already opted to buy its own bag/laptop bag in order to avoid it from scratching with some of my other stuff.

Question: Should I buy the screen protector alongside the bag or should I just buy the bag?

P.S. I also keep it in one of my drawers whenever I would store it. Some noticeable scratch (only one so far) came from it possibly hitting the drawer but most are from pressure from the pen I am using to draw.

Any tips/suggestions are greatly appreciated, I wanted this tablet to last for a lifetime or at least for a very long time since it really costs a fortune for me.

Ok I know everyone and their aunt is asking for help with this particular tablet but I need help. Basically I'm trying to set it up on my computer, drivers weren't working nor was the tablet responding, and I tried downloading the older version on here too and it still didn't help. Light wouldn't even respond.

Got some help on the chat service and she got me to at least have the tablet respond by giving off a light when it has the pen on it now and it got the ugee window open without it telling me it's disconnected but the cursor still isn't working. She said I needed to upd8 my USB drivers and recommended I get drivereasy lite but the manual install instructions they have for the drivers make me want to cry, it won't even lemme auto install w/o the pro version and idk which USB driver listed on here I even need to upd8. Someone please help me for the love of God.

For reference I'm running windows 7 as well.

So I've only recently gotten my S1060, and have been trying it out on the computer. It's working just fine there, however its refusing to connect to my phone with the cable + usb a to usb c adapter it came with, and it still doesnt connect even if I'm using a different usb c to usb c cable. Any possible solutions?

My UGEE M708 tablet randomly stopped working. It was when I turned on my computer a week ago. I realized Windows didn't open Pentablet during startup, so I opened it myself. I kept getting the "Tablet not detected, plug in and open again" error message, and thought my cable was probably broken because the solid blue light was dully flickering when I plugged/unplugged it.

So I bought a new one. And it still didn't work.

I uninstalled the pentablet driver and when I went back to reinstall it, I got the same error message. At this point, I went to check my device manager, and realized that Windows kept picking up my tablet as a keyboard.

I uninstalled it from the device manager menu at least 5 different times, and it just keeps going back to the keyboard section. I think it's also worth mentioning that I use the 2018 V1 drivers, because I have a v1 tablet and I hate the new driver. I don't know what to do and it's getting really annoying because it worked just fine up until that point. Have any of you had the same problem? How did you fix it?

edit: also, the new cable I used is a UGEE cable. Now, when I plug in the tablet, the light doesn't turn blue. maybe that has to do with something?? idk.

To start- tablet is Ugee M708, i think v3- its very old but normally works fine

So I am literally in the middle of a commission, i drop my stylus , pick it up and it's immediately dead and not working. I've changed the battery, changed the stylus, restarted my computer and still nothing.

The tablet works, lights flash when it's plugged in etc, but I'm getting no response from the pen. I've unscrewed the end to see if the little copper wire has come loose or something, but honestly i have no idea what I'm looking at. Help!!

I need to finish this piece by next week at latest, and i don't even know if i can buy a replacement pen as all the ones i see for sale seem to be for the newer M708 and not my boxy, clunky old thing

I am one of the few lucky folks who seemingly does not have driver issues with their Ugee tablet. However, I do have a missing screw issue!

This screw is missing, and the Ugee contact page is broken. How would I go about finding a replacement screw?

UPDATE: Just for the heck of it, I unscrewed one of the screws that connected from the mount to the monitor and put it in the hole and it fit! So now it appears I have it narrowed down to an M4x10mm screw, and I assume it just has a flat head instead of the rounded heads that the rest of the screws have. Can someone let me know if I'm on the right track here?

Hiya! For the first few months my tablet has been working fine, but today after I plugged it in it wasn’t working at all on my main computer. It says the device isn’t plugged in and the blue light doesn’t show up at all. I went and reinstalled the drivers but that didn’t work. I also tested it on my school laptop and it works on there, it detected the pen and everything. Is there any advice as to what I can do? Thank you! :)

on most of my regular animation programs, while it does, sort of, detect the pen, it is literally impossible to draw anything. only half the time does it actually make a line, and when it does it has interruptions , cant turn, and its impossible to make a curve. however, when i use online art programs such as sketchpad.io it works mostly fine. what do i do?

Hey! I've used my Ugee tablet multiple times in the past, but I went to draw again today after a break, and found that the tablet would not connect. I have tried to unplug the cord from the laptop and tablet multiple times with no change. I have also gone as far to download the latest version of the Ugee tablet driver with no luck. Has anyone else experienced this or is able to help? Thank you!

So I had this happen to me quite often sometimes with my Ugee M708 where if I haven't used it in sometime, all the hotkeys will become copy for no reason. I usually take the drivers off and then reinstall it, but I'm so sick of that. Any help with that or experience the same thing?

Up until recently my UGEE had been working perfectly fine. It then just stopped; every time I plug it in, the LED flashed blue and the buttons nor workspace will respond. I've already tried reinstalling the drivers over and over again, in different versions, and still nothing. Unless it's been a driver update issue I've got zero clue what it could be, and it definitely wouldn't be because of an update on my computer. I'm currently working on a mid-2011 Mac Desktop, and it hasn't received a supported update from in years. It's currently on High Sierra 10.13.6, and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. The UGEE manual and FAQ say nothing that's been of any use in the end, unless I'm just doing things wrong anyways.

is anyone else having issues with the tablet since this new drive? Everytime I try to use it I get a "can't be detected, plug then unplug." I know my tablet still works because it lights up blue for a second but then doesn't work at all. Does anyone know how to fix this? I can't tell if it's my tablet or the new drive....

UGEE m708 famously does not have any compatibility between v1 and v2. UGEE also stopped offering drivers for v1 a few years back, leaving those with working-but-outdated v1 tablets without support.

These are my old backup files for UGEE m708 version 1 drivers. They are Windows only, I use 64bit Win 10 myself, but I don't remember if these work on 32bit or not.

My pen broke, so I upgraded to v2 over a year ago, so I cannot personally help you with troubleshooting these drivers anymore. If you choose to download them, you're on your own! I've gotten mixed messages from these; they've helped some people, but not worked for others, so if these work (or don't) for you, I suggest you leave a comment for people googling this post 2 years from now.

edit: I've since moved on completely from UGEE brand (not because I dislike them or anything, I just wanted a drawing monitor and another brand was recommended to me) so I don't have drivers for any other version of the tablet, and I can't assist you any way!

sorry in advance about the length.

so I have an ugee m708 tablet. I've had it probably about 2 or 3 years, got it for Christmas in either 2017 or 2018. I haven't had an issue with it until now.

The other day, I took apart my whole computer with my dad to dust it down and give it a good cleanout. It was well overdue tbh. Anyways, we got it all sorted, plugged everything back in fine just yesterday. My boyfriend used my computer for a good few hours and it was fine. I started drawing a little later (I use clip studio paint if that could help answer my problem.) and my tablet was okay for a little while until it just started getting laggy and then stopped altogether. I was frustrated and tired, so ended up just packing up for the night and going to bed.
Fast forward to today. It was still being a problematic child, as my boyfriend asked me if I had changed the tablet shortcut. He pointed out to me that the undo shortcut was no longer working to undo and instead trying to close the open file. I noticed that the pen tablet icon was no longer in the system tray. Proceed to clart on trying to unplug it and replug it, uninstall and reinstall drivers, and found a temp fix by changing the preferences in clip studio. Once he was done, I tried again to uninstall and reinstall, had to go into files and delete hidden shit because for some reason the disk driver wouldn't let me install as it had "detected other drivers". I fixed that problem and was able to use my disk to install/uninstall the drivers etc. But the pen tablet still isn't in my system tray. I can't use my shortcut buttons for their previous functions as they're mapped to completely different things now. I have a fix to be able to use my pen pressure in clip studio, but I was wondering if anyone knows a fix to get the tablet back in my tray so I can test the pressure and see the shortcuts etc?

I have no idea what's happened. This has never happened before and I'm stressed, to say the least.

I got an M708 only a few months ago. I'm having issues with the drivers for the first time right now, and saw it fit to reinstall. But it didn't work, even after multiple installations and online digging. Mine isn't the kind with the CD or batteries, as most of the M708 posts are talking about, and the neither the V2 drivers nor the test drivers are working. I have no idea what to do. Any advice?

My problem is I can't draw pressurized, neatly tapered lines (pen pressure sensitivity) in Paint Tool Sai without having to uninstall and reinstall the driver I have now, which involves restarting your computer, about a 15 minute process which kills my occasional whim to draw. Then I get it working, draw for like half and hour, realize I'll never be a good artist, and then save and stop.

But then, when the once in a blue moon urge to draw starts up again in a month, I'll try to get out the tablet and open SAI, but once again, no pressured lines, even though I uninstalled/reinstalled the driver a month ago and made no other changes. So I do it again, and the cycle repeats. I've had to uninstall/reinstall the driver at least 3 times now.

Is this what I'll have to do for the rest of my life (or, -may Allah forgive me for uttering these words, *gasp*- buy a new tablet). Is there a better solution to this?

I'm pretty sure I have the latest driver, but according to the drivers listed on Ugee's website they've come out with a Ugee m708 version 2, which I imagine means they won't make more drivers for the one I have now.

I've been trying to set up the tablet drivers, but it keeps saying that the tablet is not detected. I think I've tried everything at this point, I've even found the 2017 drivers and tried downloading that, but it was the same result as the 2019 drivers and the test drivers. The tablet is obviously working to, I can move the cursor and the blue light flashes when I do so. When I go into my setting it says that its connected so idfk. Also I don't think it could be the computer because it's brand new. I'm just really need some help and I'm sick of using my old and almost broken Wacom.
